2024 has been a big year for Purnota Foundation! To celebrate, we had our Annual Meetup and Award Ceremony on August 18th. During the event, our team members played games, ate food (including a beautiful custom cake baked by one of our volunteers), and received certificates for Project Shocchota.

Thank you to all our team members and supporters who made this year and every year possible as we finish off half a decade of community service. We look forward to continuing to spread humanity in 2025 and beyond. Happy New Year!

Dear supporters of Purnota Foundation, we wanted to inform you that there’s 12 days remaining to donate to Project Qurbani 4.0! The deadline is set for June 17, 2024.

Like previous years, we will be providing essential grocery packages to 250 or more families to lessen the burden of household expenses during Eid-Ul-Adha. We are currently in talks with organizations and a large part of these packages will be given to underprivileged families with one or more disabled family members. This is our fourth year doing it and we want to make it bigger than ever, reaching out to as many families as we can while making sure to keep the quality and quantity of items being given at our normal standards to last at least a week!

Please donate today, help us spread humanity, and help underprivileged families enjoy their Eid with our small gift! If you have any questions regarding donations or anything please reach out to our page on Facebook.

After 3 years of successful ex*****on of projects for Eid-Ul-Adha, Purnota Foundation is proud to announce the launch of Project Qurbani 4.0!

Like in previous years, we are collecting funds to provide daily essentials alongside other grocery to underprivileged families to celebrate Eid Ul Adha without having to spend a significant amount themselves. This year, we have set the goal of providing these packages to at least 250 families with your help. Ideally, we want to provide each family with daily essentials such as rice, lentils, oil, potatoes, and other items that’s needed in every household so that they can spend. As usual, we aim to provide a good and quantity package rather than focusing on giving to even larger groups of people to ensure that those we give to can fully benefit from it.

Please donate today, help us spread humanity, and help underprivileged families enjoy their Eid with our small gift!

While many are mistakenly romanticizing this weather I want to share the actual pictures you should see as I really haven’t seen much on it on social media. I myself, have been relatively oblivious. Officially, we are currently experiencing a natural disaster called a Cyclone or Hurricane. This one specifically is called Cyclone Remal.

So far this cyclone has k1lled atleast 7, likely more, displaced about 20,000 people to temporary emergency shelters, and has led to the lost of electricity for about 4 million people atleast due to ripping out wires. Countless amount of livestock, farm land, and homes were destroyed by this cyclone. Even if you’re in dhaka, you can see that the streets are flooded, but what you may not realize is that most tinsheds and residents of slums now have water in their homes. A lot more things have resulted or may result as a consequence of this cyclone including Hajj flights being cancelled and

Dhaka was fortunate enough to avoid the path of this cyclone but the damages done by it are very real. So while I understand you are enjoying the weather, please remember those who are experiencing serious damage as a result of this weather. Point is we don’t know the actual damage done until it’s over. We already had plans from our org to do a project of Qurbani eid, but as we have done in previous times, we may shift the project to focus on flood and cycle affected areas based on final damage report.

Watch live news and reporting to stay up to date. Pray for the wellbeing of everyone.

Story Behind Purnota Foundation.

The very base of Purnota Foundation was nothing but a mere motive that embarked to fulfill only one intention - to help who cannot help themselves. The establishment of Purnota Foundation was intended not only by a sense of contributing in the society, but rather by the sense of responsibility to help those that live around us, to live alongside us.

The founding members of Purnota Foundation consists of school peers, who had long wanted to serve the nation but lacked the platform to do so. In early 2019, while sitting in a chemistry lab, the founding four members consisting of Tasfiqur Rob, Sakin Siddique, Mehedi Hasan, and Zaki Ayman Khan took it as their own responsibility to start Purnota Foundation; not only to help the underprivileged but also provide the youth a platform to serve others. The next few months were spent planning out the projects and creating an overall base for Purnota Foundation to operate smoothly and efficiently.

After months of careful planning Purnota Foundation launched it’s first public project: Project Sadqah. As lock downs were put into place leaving daily wage workers suffering and so Purnota Foundation took a step to help the families of rikshaw pullers and other daily wage workers. Through donations we were able to help over 50 families. Next, we took notice of the damage left behind by cyclone Amphan and so Project Neer was conducted helping a village of over 200 families with food, clean water and medication for weeks. Due to Covid-19 many garments workers had lost their jobs or received significant pay cuts, once again Purnota Foundation helped over 100 families of garments workers with food necessities and hygiene products. To this day, Purnota Foundation continues it’s efforts in helping those who are in need and to aid those who cannot speak out.

Today, at present, Purmota Foundation consists of more than 100 team members, from many parts of the world; each of sharing the same aim and effort to uplift the lives of others. Alongside of providing the basic necessity of living, Purnota Foundation also aims to provide a source that helps people to have their own income source, and exercise their own potential at the finest. Purnota Foundation believes the only credibility one needs to serve and spread humanity, is the thought of it. Purnota Foundation promises to keep carrying out projects in order to serve the nation and attempt to uplift the lives of the underprivileged people of Bangladesh.
