𝗔 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗯𝘆 𝗣𝗣𝗥𝗖 (commissioned by HEU, MoHFW) reveals that 94% of public health facilities left allocated funds unspent, even while essential medicines were in stock at just 22% of facilities and nearly 40% of technologist posts sat vacant.

Unveiled today at the International Mother Language Institute, the study highlights that our biggest obstacle isn't money, it's converting budgets into actual care.

Presenting the findings, PPRC Executive Chairman Dr. Hossain Zillur Rahman called for urgent institutional reform, proposing a phased roadmap:

𝟭. 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁-𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺: Recruit technologists, simplify procurement, and upgrade digital monitoring.

𝟮. 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺-𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺: Create a dedicated health management cadre and decentralize financial power.

𝟯. 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺: Overhaul EDCL and CMSD for reliable medicine supply chains.

Hon’ble Health Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain, MP, Chief Guest at the event, emphasized that healthcare is a constitutional right requiring radical transparency and institutional integrity.
