AI-Driven Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Preparing the Workforce for a Digital Economy

Engr. Rajib Mazumder is a Research and Innovation Specialist (Team Leader) at the Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (iDEA) Project under the ICT Division, Government of Bangladesh. He works at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and policy-driven innovation, with a strong focus on building startup ecosystems and advancing digital innovation.

With expertise in startup evaluation, pre-screening, design thinking, and research-led innovation management, he has been actively involved in shaping national innovation programs and supporting youth-led entrepreneurship in Bangladesh.

In this session, he will discuss how AI-driven innovation and entrepreneurship are reshaping workforce needs and what skills, mindsets, and capabilities are essential for preparing individuals for a rapidly evolving digital economy.

Dr. Datta is an Associate Director at the Cognizant AI Lab (Bangalore) with extensive experience in Generative AI, Large Language Models, Machine Learning, and Engineering Optimization. His career spans leadership roles in industry and academia, including Cognizant, Accenture, Boeing Research & Technology, and international universities.
