Youth Action For Development (YAD) is proud to join the BYC EC Election & Special General Meeting 2026, taking place on 4–6 October 2026 at Royena Resort.

As youth-led organizations, our strength lies in collaboration, participation, and accountable governance. We look forward to coming together with fellow youth organizations and partners to contribute to a stronger, more inclusive, and youth-driven Bangladesh Youth Coalition (BYC).

Korail community-তে YAD-এর স্বেচ্ছাসেবকদের সঙ্গে সময় কাটিয়ে আমরা কথা বলেছি এই এলাকার মানুষ প্রতিদিন কী ধরনের নতুন ও পুরোনো চ্যালেঞ্জের মুখোমুখি হচ্ছেন, কী পরিবর্তন তাদের জীবনে ইতিবাচক প্রভাব ফেলতে পারে, এবং সেই পরিবর্তনে তরুণদের ভূমিকা কী হতে পারে।

আলোচনায় উঠে এসেছে শিক্ষা, কর্মসংস্থান ও দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন, পরিবেশ ও বর্জ্য ব্যবস্থাপনা, নিরাপত্তা, প্রয়োজনীয় সেবা ও তথ্যের সুযোগসহ কমিউনিটির বিভিন্ন বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতা ও চ্যালেঞ্জ।
প্রতিটি অভিজ্ঞতা আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয়, কোনো কমিউনিটির জন্য কাজ করার আগে সেই কমিউনিটির মানুষের কথা শোনা কতটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

YAD বিশ্বাস করে, টেকসই পরিবর্তন বাইরে থেকে চাপিয়ে দেওয়া যায় না—পরিবর্তনের পরিকল্পনায় কমিউনিটির মানুষকে অংশীদার করতে হয়।

Young people may grow up in different communities, cultures, economies, and circumstances — but our aspirations often connect us.

We aspire to learn, lead, create opportunities, live with dignity, and shape a better future.

This International Youth Day, let’s recognize that diversity is not a barrier to collective action. Our different experiences can become our greatest strength when young people are given the space, resources, voice, and opportunities to participate meaningfully.

From local communities to global platforms, young people are already driving change — addressing climate challenges, advancing equality, promoting health and well-being, building skills, and strengthening their communities.

Different contexts. Common aspirations. Shared responsibility.

YAD believes that meaningful youth participation is not simply about giving young people a seat at the table — it is about ensuring that their voices influence decisions and shape solutions.

Let’s build a future where every young person can turn their aspirations into action.

We are delighted to share that Youth Action For Development (YAD) has successfully completed the Capacity Enhancement Training under the Shomotay Tarunno – Youth for Equality Project.

Representing YAD, our two youth leaders—

—successfully participated in the two-day residential training, where they enhanced their knowledge and skills on:

• Gender Stereotypes & Gender Equality
• Women's Rights
• Safeguarding
• Digital Safety & Media Literacy
• Advocacy

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to JAAGO Foundation Trust, Plan International Bangladesh, and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bangladesh for organizing this valuable learning opportunity and for selecting YAD as a Youth-Led Organisation (YLO) under this important initiative.

The knowledge and experience gained from this training will be shared with our youth members and integrated into our future activities to promote gender equality, youth leadership, and safer communities.

In Sha Allah, Youth Action For Development (YAD) will carry this responsibility with dedication and work towards creating a more equal and inclusive society.

The fair brought together youth-led organizations, development partners, and stakeholders to showcase innovative SRHR resources, exchange experiences, and inspire collective action towards a .

Highlights from our Youth SRHR Club Capacity Building Training, where young leaders strengthened their knowledge and skills on Research, Safeguarding, SRHR, and Community Action.

We were honored to meet Dr. Md. Monjur Hossain, AD (MCH Services), Directorate General of Family Planning (DGFP), for a constructive discussion on strengthening Adolescent Friendly Health Corners (AFHCs) and improving access to adolescent-friendly health services.

During the meeting, we shared the work of Youth Action for Development (YAD) and discussed how youth-led initiatives can contribute to strengthening AFHCs through awareness, school engagement and community participation.

Dr. Monjur Hossain appreciated our efforts and provided valuable guidance. He also expressed his willingness to support meaningful youth-led initiatives that contribute to improving adolescent health and well-being.

We sincerely thank him for his time, encouragement and valuable insights.

Youth Action for Development (YAD)-এর আয়োজনে এবং Youth Share-Net Project-এর আওতায় সফলভাবে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে Second Annual Stakeholder Meeting

অনুষ্ঠানে মোঃ রাজু, থানা মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা কর্মকর্তা (TSEO), সম্মানিত অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। এছাড়াও বিভিন্ন বিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষক, স্বাস্থ্যসেবা প্রদানকারী, উন্নয়ন সংস্থার প্রতিনিধি, কমিউনিটি প্রতিনিধি এবং যুব প্রতিনিধিরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন।

সভায় কিশোর-কিশোরীদের মাসিক স্বাস্থ্য ও সুস্থতা বিষয়ক যুব-নেতৃত্বাধীন গবেষণার চূড়ান্ত ফলাফল উপস্থাপন করা হয়। গবেষণার মূল ফলাফল, স্থানীয় বাস্তবতা, অংশীজনদের অভিজ্ঞতা এবং ভবিষ্যৎ করণীয় নিয়ে অংশগ্রহণকারীরা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মতামত ও সুপারিশ প্রদান করেন।

আলোচনায় বিদ্যালয়ভিত্তিক মাসিক স্বাস্থ্য শিক্ষা জোরদার করা, শিক্ষক ও যুব নেতৃত্বের সক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধি, কৈশোরবান্ধব স্বাস্থ্যসেবার সঙ্গে কার্যকর সংযোগ স্থাপন এবং স্কুল–কমিউনিটি–স্বাস্থ্যখাতের সমন্বিত উদ্যোগ আরও শক্তিশালী করার ওপর গুরুত্বারোপ করা হয়।

Youth Action for Development (YAD) বিশ্বাস করে, গবেষণার প্রমাণ (Evidence), অংশীজনদের অভিজ্ঞতা এবং যুব নেতৃত্বের সমন্বয়ই কিশোর-কিশোরীদের জন্য আরও স্বাস্থ্যবান্ধব, নিরাপদ ও সহায়ক পরিবেশ গড়ে তুলতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে।
