The BONGO MATI FOUNDATION-BMF is established to implement any or all of the following objectives: All the objectives mentioned hereafter will be implemented after obtaining necessary permission from the government/ concerned authority or competent authority and the objectives contrary to the provision of the relevant Acts shall be treated as ineffective. The objectives for which the Foundation is
being established are as follows:-
1. To design and implement programming on women’s economic empowerment, advancing human rights especially the rights of women, children and the elderly.
2. To render child and mother’s health care services, medical care to pregnant and nursing women, including safe childbirth through clinic, workshops and/or any other relevant form of program delivery. Undertake programming at national level to alleviate poverty and food security. To ensure mother welfare, safe pregnancy and delivery through clinics and workshops.
3. To undertake projects for health care, education development service, welfare service, health & nutrition, mother & child health care, family planning, differently abled (mental or physical), third gender, environment stewardship and mass education for the under-privileged population of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
4. To Establish welfare foundations for disadvantaged women and girls, to set up old-age homes or hospice care facilities for the infirm, and orphanages for the youth.,
5. To undertake and carry-on Human Development and humanitarian, disaster relief or charitable programs for the under-privileged people, slum dwellers and to take up program for their promotion of literacy, financial solvency and education. To undertake motivational work among the peoples to create awareness on literature, arts and science. To undertake program for educational research on archeology and historical relics.
6. To undertake innovative research to advance on human development and environmental sustainability Bangladesh.
7. To create and/or develop awareness among public about deadly diseases, epidemic, environment, health, nutrition, education, arsenic contamination, social & human rights and social responsibilities. To create of Environment of Development, Extension of Education, Mother & Child and Nutritional Development, Disaster Management Awareness.
8. To conduct as training of Nursery Development, Youth development, Primary health care, Internet information & communication technology, computer, Software & hardware, Sewing machine, Boutique Print, Embroidery, Vocational and Health related training all the trainings will be run by the Society as per Govt. To arrange/take up training activities of improved educational program for literate and semi-literate people for the purpose of increasing technical and professional capacities.
10. To establish run and maintain School, College, University and such other educational institution both general, medical and technical for the purpose of diffusion of useful knowledge among the people or target group.
11. To distribute books free of cost among the poor students of schools, colleges, universities and others institution for the purpose of amelioration of the quality of education. To establish library and reading room for the use of general public for the purpose of promotion of education and culture.
12. To establish libraries, reading room, study center for developing the habit of studying for the benefit of the society.
13. To arrange exhibition of fine art/painting through display center/museum and mobile museum.
14. To set up medical college, dental college and training institutes for doctors, nurses and other medical and non-medical staff with prior permission form the concerned authority of the Government. The society may arrange and organize various courses of study or training in diploma to anybody with prior permission from the Government.
15. To establish clinics, hospitals, emergency medical facility, out-patient department, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, drugs, surgical apparatus instruments, laboratories, X-rays, echocardiograph, endoscope, ultra-sonogram and all types medical and surgical investigation facilities. To promote, encourage, organize and provide modern scientific medical and health services in Bangladesh.
16. To set up Marine Fish Academy and training institutes for fish farmers, youth and other non- farmers staff with prior permission form the concerned authority of the Government. The society may arrange and organize various courses of study or training in diploma to students in the field of Hatchery Management, Fish Nursing Rearing Techniques, Grow out Rearing Techniques for freshwater and marine aquatic species with prior permission from the Government.
17. To provide Tube-well, and other water purification systems for safe drinking and arsenic free water facilities to the beneficiaries for prevention of water bore diseases. To provide sanitary latrine facilities to the target beneficiaries through sanitation project and supply iodine mixed slot to the poor class people to prevent goiter disease.
18. This foundation will be able to take steps to solicit donations from solvent people or other institutions for improvement of the Society as per governing laws of Bangladesh.
19. To maintain liaison with concerned person, authorities, institutions and international foundations within outside of Bangladesh.
20. To accept donation, gifts, contributions, cash or kind from any person, institutions or companies from home and abroad and to use the same towards the promotion and maintenance of the objects of the society. To engage on activities aimed at improving the socio-economic condition of the peoples of Bangladesh particularly the disadvantaged ones and more particularly the children and mothers.
21. To conduct social monitoring or pre-assessment job on compliances status and to work towards the improvement of working environment compliance status, social responsibilities, workers awareness in the workplace and to conduct research on formal and non-formal education health issues, gender equity, environment, social responsibility of different groups. To provide training and service for social awareness on nutrition, pollution of environment, hygiene, sanitation, use of safe and arsenic-free drinking water, sanitary latrines, AIDS and other community diseases, disposal of house-hold garbage.
22. To organize community child health services including educational program for mass peoples on sanitation, hygiene, food habits nutrition and related matters. To arrange teaching and training of doctors, nurses, and paramedical personnel in community health and related fields. To establish a blood-bank to carry out transfusion facilities and eye-bank for collection, donation and transplantation of eye and treatment of eye diseases.
23. To promote education and associated facilities among vulnerable children, women, To educate vulnerable children about modern technology and to extend assistance for the street children to be educated and be valuable citizens of our country..
24. To promote the exchange of technological, managerial and scientific knowledge through the exchange of visits, publications, etc and To publish journals, books and papers for benefit of the members of Foundation in particular and the citizens of Bangladesh in general.
25. To provide re-education for children in risky field of work from the Foundation and arrange training and education for differently abled children and to settle them as/and when required. To help the community related with child and working for the benefit of children.
26. To provide legal aid & advocacy to the vulnerable community for the betterment of the children and women and to protect them from all kinds of social injustice & violence.
27. To do all such other lawful things for the betterment of the children and women as are conducive, desirable or incidental to the attainment of the above objectives and for furthering the growth of the Foundation, without being restricted or limited by any rule of construction.
