CENTRE FOR THE RIGHTS OF DISABILITY (CRD) is a non-profitable disabled people’s organization (DPO’S) has been working 2020. It has started with an initiative of Md. Rajib Ahmed persons with disabilities (Mobility, Need Elbow Crutch) as activists on 21st February, 2020 with the realization of my own heart when facing injustice to me by violating rules & Regulations. The initiative quickly gathered momentum and many joined hands from the members of families having persons with disabilities, civil society, professionals, development advocates, therapists, etc. It is a voluntary organization which works mainly for networking & advocating the rights of persons with disabilities and raising awareness among the mass people about the basic rights of persons with disabilities. CRD also is working to establish the rights of education, employment, universal accessibility, transportation and social dignity of the people with disabilities as other citizens of Bangladesh in equal basis.
