Formal Education for Interior Design was first started in Bangladesh in 1996. Since then this profession had been growing rapidly and many institutions started providing education on this Professional course. But there was no platform for all these professionals to connect, share or develop in a systematic manner. Every one practiced individually, some maintained high international standards of professionalism in this field and some could not do as efficiently, in addition to that a few started up Interior Design business who had no education on this subject and performed very poorly. This created a lot of confusion and cause among the clients and difficulties for the real professionals. Hence, a need for a common platform became a necessity as the days passed.
In 2012, a few of the senior professionals in this field suggested that we have an Association. which in 2020 finally took shape.
We exist to connect, strategies and systematically improve Professional Interior Design services in Bangladesh.
