Prantoz Foundation is a non-profit grassroots, community-based organization in Bangladesh committed to fostering social justice and inclusion through climate change initiatives and the promotion of S*xual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). The foundation actively works to uplift marginalized and subaltern communities by addressing systemic barriers that hinder access to education, employme
nt, and healthcare. The organization designs and implements programs that provide counseling, career guidance, and life skills training, aimed at reintegrating dropouts into the educational system and empowering them with sustainable career pathways. In addition to education, Prantoz focuses on vocational training and resilient livelihood as a means to foster long-term resilience. Prantoz Foundation is also active in climate change advocacy and integrates environmental sustainability into its broader mission. Recognizing the intersection of climate vulnerability and social inequality, the organization conducts awareness campaigns, workshops, and advocacy meetings to highlight the disproportionate impact of climate change on marginalized communities, particularly those in coastal and flood-prone areas like Khulna. By blending SRHR advocacy, educational initiatives, and climate action, Prantoz Foundation envisions a more inclusive and equitable society where marginalized people and subaltern communities (e.g. Hijra, Kothi, Intersex, HIV Positive People/PLHIV, Disabled, Indigenous, Rural Women, S*x Workers, Dalits, Rural Youth, Religious Minority, Ethnic and Linguistic Minority, Climate Vulnerable People, Atheists, Feminists, Gender Diverse Community, elderly people, street children, etc.)
