The Australia Alumni Association Bangladesh (AAAB) has taken a Tree Plantation Initiative as part of our continued commitment to achieve environmental sustainability, climate resilience and to build a greener future for Bangladesh.

As part of this initiative, a tree plantation programme was organised on 5 September 2026 bringing together alumni and well-wishers with a shared purpose to give something back to nature and to future generations.

Every sapling we plant is more than just a tree. It represents hope, responsibility and our collective commitment to a healthier planet.

We encourage every AAAB member to join this initiative by planting trees and sharing photos/videos of your plantation activity with the Executive Committee. Let’s make this a collective effort and inspire others to take part.

Together, let’s nurture a greener Bangladesh.

This Eid, AAAB members are encouraged to plant trees in their villages, hometowns, or communities as an individual initiative for a greener Bangladesh.

You can plant one tree or many — every effort matters.

The Australian High Commission recently met with Bangladesh’s Honourable State Minister of Food and Public Administration, Md. Abdul Bari, to discuss opportunities to deepen Australia–Bangladesh food security cooperation and expanding trade in agri-foods.

A meeting has been held between Australia Alumni Association Bangladesh (AAAB) and Australian High Commission today. Acting High Commissioner Mr. Clinton Pobke along with other officials of the High Commission participated in the meeting .

The meeting featured a constructive discussion on the future Action Plan of AAAB, the upcoming events and strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the association.The exchange of ideas reflected a shared commitment to strengthening alumni engagement and deepening people-to-people ties between Bangladesh and Australia.

আজ ২১ শে ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২৬ তারিখে অস্ট্রেলিয়া অ্যালামনাই অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের পক্ষ থেকে মহান শহীদ দিবস ও আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস উপলক্ষে কেন্দ্রীয় শহীদ মিনারে পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণ করা হয়। পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণ অনুষ্ঠানে স্বতঃস্ফূর্তভাবে যোগ দেওয়ার জন্য উপস্থিত সকল অ্যালামনাইকে অসংখ্য ধন্যবাদ ও কৃতজ্ঞতা।
