The first student-led community need assessment visit of the Community Impact Leadership Program successfully brought together 60 BRAC Education Program students at Mirpur-12 for meaningful discussions and engagement.

Three dedicated teams โ€” Social Inclusion, Climate Resilience, and Emotional Health โ€” facilitated interactive discourse sessions focused on community based need assessment, and community-driven impact.
The visit was further guided and overseen by the Assistant Director, Mr. Nabil Bin Arif, Civic Engagement Cell and the Coordinator, Mr. Mushfiqur Rahaman, Social Impact Lab, School of General Education, BRAC University.

Social Impact Lab BRAC University hosted an information session on the ๐Œ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐‚๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐…๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, highlighting its distinguished global platform, application process, and transformative leadership opportunities.

The session was organised with the valued support of the Office of Register, Student Life, OCA and other university departments.

We were honoured to welcome ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐ƒ๐š๐ฏ๐ข๐ ๐ƒ๐จ๐ฐ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐, Registrar of BRAC University, ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐’๐ซ๐ข๐ฃ๐š๐ง ๐๐š๐ง๐ข๐ค, Founder of SIL, as one of the key guests, whose insights added depth and inspiration to the discussion. The Community Impact Leadership Program (CILP) was formally inaugurated through a well-structured kick-off session, marking the beginning of a collaborative journey toward fostering leadership and community engagement.

The session was honored by the presence of Dr. Samia Huq, Dean & Professor of the School of General Education, alongside the Senior Lecturer and Program Director Ms. Fahmida Rahman. The event was further enriched by the participation of Mr. Nabil Bin Arif, Assistant Director of the Civic Engagement Cell; Mr. Mushfiqur Rahaman, Coordinator of the Social Impact Lab; and Advisor Mr. Mikhail Idris.

The inauguration commenced with an introductory segment featuring the student mentorsโ€”Nafira Nayeem, Shanen Gomes, and Maisha Binte Salimโ€”setting a purposeful and engaging tone for the program ahead.

This initiative reflects a continued commitment to nurturing impactful leadership and strengthening community-driven collaborations.
