The Global SDG Youth Summit 2024 is a two-day gathering aimed at empowering youth to drive progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With a focus on innovation, collaboration, and advocacy, this summit will bring together young leaders, policymakers, and organizations from around the globe to address critical global challenges and catalyze action toward sustainable development. The summit will feature Six parallel thematic sessions and an Innovation Exhibition and will culminate in the creation of a 'Global SDG Youth Summit 2024 Declaration' to support national and regional advocacy efforts.
The summit, titled "Pact for Impact: Bringing Youth Voices for Bridging Action and Advocacy", will take place on December 14-15, 2024, in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This two-day event will bring together 300 young leaders, policymakers, development partners, and stakeholders, providing a platform for youth-led dialogue and innovative solutions around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Key themes of the summit include:
1. Climate Action, Biodiversity Conservation and Renewable Energy
2. Youth Engagement in Climate Resilience and Climate-Induced Migration
3. Education, Curriculum and Socio-Economic Development in Bangladesh
4. Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Employment
5. Health, Wellness and Gender Equality
6. Media Literacy, Empowerment and Civic Engagement

We are excited to announce that the Global Youth Climate Training Programme (GYCT) 2024 is now accepting applications. Following the success of our 2023 training, Oxford Net Zero, Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, and the Global Youth Coalition are again collaborating to offer this FREE, comprehensive ONLINE capacity-building programme for the global youth.

What to Expect:
- Free and remote training
- 10 expert LED sessions covering critical aspects of climate policy
Interactive sessions within the GYC Lab
- Programme Dates: 3rd September - 1st October 2024
- Special pre-COP29 session on 1st November
- Delivered in five languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic
