Every child deserves a childhood, not a workplace.
In Bangladesh, millions of children remain engaged in labour, often missing out on education, safety, and opportunities for a better future. Ending child labour is not only about protecting children, it's about empowering families.
At Ignite Global Foundation (IGF), we believe that ending child labour requires addressing its root causes. Poverty and limited livelihood opportunities often force families to depend on children's income. That is why IGF works not only to ensure access to education for vulnerable children but also to strengthen family resilience through income-generation opportunities for parents and caregivers.
By supporting parents with skills development, entrepreneurship initiatives, and sustainable livelihood opportunities, we help families increase their income, reduce economic pressure, and create an environment where children can stay in school instead of entering the workforce.
This World Day Against Child Labour, we reaffirm our commitment to building communities where every child can learn, grow, and dream without the burden of labour.
Together, we can break the cycle of poverty and create a future where every child is in school, safe, and empowered.
