Zhumka Hasta Shilpa Mahila Samity (Zhumka Bangladesh) is a Non-Government Organization (NGO), registered form NGO affairs bureau, department of women affairs, Family planning, BTEB etc. We are working with an aim to increase the socio-economic status and improve the existing livelihood pattern of the vulnerable and hardcore poor people of the less advanced area of the country, especially emphasizing the women and children development. Zhumka Hasta Shilpa Mahila Samity was established with an aim to promote the socio-economical, livelihood and cultural status of the vulnerable poor people, hardcore women and, children for their development & poverty alleviation, so that they can effectively increase their optimum living standard and able to be self-employed in off- farm season within their living areas. Zhumka Hasta Shilpa Mahila Samity has been working in climate change affected areas like as; flood affected, River erosion, cyclone affected etc. at Jamalpur, Sunamganj, Kurigram, Netrakona, Potuakhali and other Districts of Bangladesh from its inception period. The organization is working for the socio-economic development of rural farmers by providing Sustainable Organic Agriculture (SOA) training, Homemade Organic Fertilizer (HOF) production process, Homemade Organic Pesticide (HOP) production process, Zinc rice production process in Netrakona and Jamalpur Districts,
Zhumka Hasta Shilpa Mahila Samity is also providing skill development training, Vocational Training on Tailoring, Handicraft training, Farmers training, Fisheries training, livestock training, Poultry Rearing Training at Netrakona and Sunamganj District.
