Project Kritoggo An youth-led organization that strongly believes in being grateful and working unitedly; to contribute to the development of our community.

Kritoggo Foundation Bangladesh is a non-profit charity organization that focuses on increasing IT literacy and overall development of the society. We strive to contribute to the development of our community through our projects. We are passionate about working to ease issues such as poverty, natural disasters, and climate which has had catastrophic effects and has been pulling us back as a society

. We have been working with communities affected by these issues by sponsoring groceries, fixing houses, and building water plants and purifiers in rural areas. We do it because we are grateful and wish to give back to people what we have been blessed with. The organization began its journey in October 2020 with smaller campaigns, and is now working towards contributing to the SDG Goals, with its core project being increasing IT literacy amongst underprivileged students (SDG 4 & 8) through a 6 month development course followed by internships and Freelancing. Mission statement:
Our mission is to create opportunities to break free from the poverty cycle, whilst focusing more on skill development education. Vision Statement:
Our vision consists of a world where change creates unity, where communities, especially marginalized ones, are empowered and given a chance to break the shackles of poverty. Our vision is for people to thrive in life rather than just survive.

This Ramadan, we had the opportunity to stand beside some truly resilient children and their families at Autism Support Association Bangladesh.

Many of these children are growing up with autism and other developmental challenges, and for families already facing financial hardship, the journey can be even more demanding. Through your support, we were able to share Iftar meals and distribute Eid grocery packs- easing, even if a little, the burden they carry every day.

A special thank you to every donor who continues to place their trust in us. It is because of you that we are able to reach communities that are often overlooked, and extend the spirit of Ramadan where it is needed most.

This Women’s Day, through our Zakat for Livelihood initiative, we had the privilege of supporting another incredible woman with a sewing machine — a simple tool that will help her build a more stable future for her family.

Like so many women around us, she quietly carries countless responsibilities every day. From caring for her children to managing her household, she has always tried to support her family in every way possible. She already had the skill to sew, but owning a sewing machine had always been beyond reach.

Today, that changed. She now has the opportunity to start working from home, earn with dignity, and contribute to her household in a meaningful way.

This is what Zakat for Livelihood is about — not just providing temporary support, but giving someone the chance to stand on their own feet and build a sustainable path forward.

This Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and determination of women who uplift their families every single day.

This Ramadan, we had the honour of distributing Qur’ans to madrasa students in need — young learners who are dedicating their time to studying and memorising the Book of Allah.

For some of them, owning a personal Qur’an is not easy. Many come from families who cannot afford one, and madrasas are not always able to provide individual copies for every student. Today, because of your support, these students now have their own Qur’an- something they can learn from, reflect on, and carry with them on their spiritual journey.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” (Bukhari)

May every letter they recite bring reward to those who made this possible.

Alhamdulillah, throughout this Ramadan we continue our daily iftar distribution, Zakat for Livelihood support, (10 Taka) Bazaar, and other initiatives assisting orphanages, daily labourers, and underprivileged communities across the country.

This Ramadan, we began our Zakat for Livelihood initiative by supporting two women in Satkhira with sewing machines- tools they already know how to use, but never had access to own.

Both women come from deeply vulnerable backgrounds, struggling to maintain a stable income month to month. One of them has been carrying her family alone after being abandoned by her husband. What they needed wasn’t just charity; it was a chance to earn with dignity.

Your Zakat didn’t just provide support. It gave them a path to stability. We carefully identify families facing real hardship and match support to skills they already have, so your Zakat creates lasting change — not temporary relief.

30 Days. One Intention: Share the Blessing.

Ramadan is a month of mercy, reflection, and showing up for one another. Every evening, as we break our fast, there are people in our communities who wait for iftar with uncertainty.

This Ramadan, KFB is committing to daily iftar distribution, across Dhaka, Sylhet, and beyond.
With BDT 130 (£1), you can share one iftar. One plate at a time, one day at a time.

Alongside daily iftar, we’ll also be carrying out other initiatives throughout Ramadan; including 10 Taka Bazaar, Zakat for lives, and Qur’an distribution. Stay tuned as we share more details soon.

As temperatures continue to drop, thousands across the city are sleeping without warmth or shelter.

As temperatures drop in Dhaka, and surrounding areas, thousands of people are facing the cold without shelter, warmth, or protection. For those living on the streets and families already struggling to survive, cold nights are not just uncomfortable; they are dangerous.

A single blanket can mean the difference between falling sick and making it through the night.

This winter, we are collecting funds to provide essential winter support- blankets, sweaters, and warm necessities to people who have nowhere else to turn.

If you’re reading this, you already have the ability to help someone sleep a little warmer tonight. It’s a small amount for us, but a powerful act of care for someone enduring the cold with nothing but the clothes they have.
