On this International Labour Day, we are reminded that protecting children’s rights is essential to building a just, equal, and compassionate society.
The Shurjodoy Child Forum stands with the belief that children are not only the future they are also present voices that must be heard, valued, and protected. Their dreams, opinions, and safety matter today.
Child labour denies children their right to education, protection, and a safe childhood. It is our shared responsibility to change this reality.
Let us unite in action and commitment towards a world where every child is free to learn, dream, and grow with dignity.

Shurjodoy Child Forum had the opportunity to take part in the Youth Coalition-Building Event on 12 April 2026 at KIB Complex, Dhaka, hosted by SERAC-Bangladesh with support from the GHAI Advocacy Accelerator.
Representing the organization, President Maria Akter joined the discussions and shared valuable insights on enhancing youth collaboration. She also highlighted the importance of incorporating the VPL model into adolescent health services.
This engagement reflects another positive step towards strengthening youth-led initiatives and improving adolescent health outcomes in Bangladesh.

ঈদের আনন্দ তখনই প্রকৃত অর্থে পূর্ণতা পায়, যখন তা সবার সঙ্গে ভাগ করে নেওয়া যায়। 💜
Shurjodoy Child Forum ও Unique Youth Forum -এর যৌথ উদ্যোগে আয়োজন করা হয় ❝Sharing Happiness❞। গুলশানের শাহাবুদ্দিন পার্কে কুড়িল থেকে বাড্ডা এলাকার সুবিধাবঞ্চিত শিশুদের মাঝে ঈদের নতুন পোশাক বিতরণ এবং ইফতারের ব্যবস্থা করা হয়।
শিশুদের মুখে ফুটে ওঠা নির্মল হাসি ও আনন্দঘন মুহূর্তগুলোই আমাদের এই উদ্যোগের সবচেয়ে বড় প্রাপ্তি এবং অনুপ্রেরণা।
এই আয়োজন সফলভাবে সম্পন্ন করতে দুই ফোরামের সকল মেম্বার ও লিডারের আন্তরিক প্রচেষ্টা, সময় ও নিষ্ঠার জন্য জানাই আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা।
আমরা আশা করি, এই ধরনের উদ্যোগ ভবিষ্যতেও অব্যাহত থাকবে এবং আরও অনেক মানুষের মুখে হাসি ফোটাতে সক্ষম হবে। সকলের দোয়া ও সহযোগিতা কাম্য।

প্রতিবারের ন্যায় এবারও আরও বৃহৎ পরিসরে আয়োজন করতে যাচ্ছে Shurjodoy Child Forum তাদের বিশেষ ঈদ উদ্যোগ —
🌙 “ঈদের খুশি থাক সবার মুখে–২০২৬” 🌙
এবার আমাদের এই আয়োজন ছড়িয়ে যাবে আরও বিস্তৃত পরিসরে। আমরা পৌঁছে যাবো অসহায় ও সুবিধাবঞ্চিত কিছু পরিবারের কাছে, তুলে দেবো ঈদের আনন্দ স্বরূপ ঈদ বাজার। এছাড়াও থাকছে শিশুদের নিয়ে বিশেষ ইফতার আয়োজন এবং ঈদ উপহার বিতরণ।
আপনিও হতে পারেন এই সুন্দর উদ্যোগের একজন গর্বিত অংশীদার। আপনার সামান্য অবদানই হতে পারে কারও মুখে লাখ টাকার হাসির কারণ।

ভোট আমার অধিকার, ভোট আমার শক্তি” 🗳️
গণতন্ত্রের মূল শক্তি হলো সচেতন ভোটার। স্থানীয় পর্যায়ে সাধারণ মানুষকে ভোটাধিকার সম্পর্কে সচেতন করতে দুই দিন ব্যাপী,প্রায় ৫০০ অভিভাবকদের নিয়ে ঢাকা-১১আসনে অনুষ্ঠিত হলো এক বিশেষ আলোচনা ও সচেতনতামূলক সেশন।
Unique Youth Forum এবং Shurjodoy Child Forum -এর যৌথ উদ্যোগে আয়োজিত এই কর্মসূচিতে মূলত নারী ও অভিভাবকদের অংশগ্রহণে ভোটের গুরুত্ব, ভোটদানের সঠিক পদ্ধতি এবং নাগরিক দায়িত্ব সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করা হয়েছে।

আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, একজন সচেতন ভোটারই পারেন একটি শক্তিশালী ও স্বচ্ছ গণতান্ত্রিক কাঠামো গড়ে তুলতে। নাগরিক হিসেবে নিজের অধিকার জানুন, সঠিক উপায়ে ভোট দিন।

সূর্যোদয় শিশু ফোরাম, (বাড্ডা PFA) কিশোর-কিশোরীদের অংশগ্রহণে একটি প্রজনন স্বাস্থ্য বিষয়ক সচেতনতামূলক সেশন আয়োজন করে। সেশনে কৈশোরকালীন সময়ে শারীরিক ও মানসিক পরিবর্তনের ফলে বিভিন্ন ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ আচরণের প্রতি আগ্রহ সৃষ্টি হওয়া, নিজেকে অতিরিক্ত পরিণত মনে করা এবং সামাজিকভাবে নিজেকে আলাদা রাখার প্রবণতা সম্পর্কে আলোচনা করা হয়। এ ধরনের পরিস্থিতিতে সতর্ক থাকা, দায়িত্বশীল আচরণ গড়ে তোলা এবং অভিভাবক ও বড়দের পরামর্শ গ্রহণের গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরা হয়।
একই সঙ্গে শিশু শ্রমকে একটি গুরুতর সামাজিক অন্যায় হিসেবে চিহ্নিত করা হয় এবং ব্যাখ্যা করা হয় যে শিশু শ্রম একটি শিশুর শিক্ষা, সুন্দর জীবন ও ভবিষ্যৎ স্বপ্নকে ধ্বংস করে দেয়।
এ ধরনের সচেতনতামূলক কার্যক্রম শিশুদের নিরাপদ, সুস্থ ও মর্যাদাপূর্ণ ভবিষ্যৎ নিশ্চিত করতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে।
