Management Trainee (R&D)
Number of Vacancies: 03
Job Location: Gazipur, Bangladesh (Depending on business requirements, management may assign them to the Production Facility at Gobindaganj, Gaibandha, either on a temporary or permanent basis.)
Employment Status: Full-Time
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must possess an MS (Thesis) degree with strong academic credentials from a reputed public university in one of the following disciplines:
âĸ Plant Pathology
âĸ Agricultural Biotechnology
âĸ Microbiology
âĸ Biotechnology
âĸ Biochemistry & Molecular Biology
âĸ Agriculture (Relevant Discipline)
Experience
âĸ 01â03 years of relevant experience in laboratory, industrial, or agricultural research is preferred.
âĸ Outstanding fresh graduates with excellent academic records and research potential are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for:
âĸ Conducting laboratory, industrial, and field research for the development and improvement of biofertilizer and biopesticide products.
âĸ Isolation, identification, preservation, and characterization of beneficial microorganisms.
âĸ Conducting microbial fermentation, process optimization, and scale-up from laboratory to pilot/industrial fermenters.
âĸ Developing microbial formulations and production technologies.
âĸ Planning, executing, monitoring, and evaluating greenhouse and farmer field trials.
âĸ Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting experimental data using scientific methods.
âĸ Preparing technical reports, SOPs, research documentation, and presentations.
âĸ Ensuring compliance with laboratory quality systems, biosafety standards, and research protocols.
âĸ Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.
Required Competencies
The ideal candidate should possess:
âĸ Strong knowledge of microbiology, biotechnology, molecular biology, chemistry, and biochemistry.
âĸ Hands-on experience in aseptic techniques and microbial culture handling.
âĸ Practical knowledge of bacterial and fungal fermentation.
âĸ Experience in microbiological laboratory operations and industrial research.
âĸ Knowledge of formulation development for microbial products.
âĸ Experience in designing and conducting field experiments with scientific data analysis.
âĸ Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
âĸ Ability to work independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams.
âĸ High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to research excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates having experience in any of the following areas will receive additional preference:
âĸ Nanotechnology applications in agriculture, biotechnology, or microbiology.
âĸ Pilot-scale and industrial fermenter operation, fermentation scale-up, and bioprocess optimization.

âĸ Be willing to travel anywhere in Bangladesh as required.
âĸ Be capable of working beyond regular office hours when necessary.
âĸ Demonstrate a positive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Preferred: 25â35 years
Age may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates.
