JCI Bangladesh Hosts Landmark 1st NGB-LP Fellowship in Kuala Lumpur 2026, Strengthening Global Leadership Ties.

In a remarkable demonstration of global unity and leadership, JCI Bangladesh successfully organized its 1st National Governing BoardโLocal President (NGB-LP) Fellowship in Kuala Lumpur, bringing together 56 dynamic delegates comprising National Officers and Local Presidents.
Strategically aligned with the prestigious ASPAC Senate Golf 2026 and ASPAC Academy 2026, the fellowship created a powerful platform for international collaboration, enabling delegates to connect with JCI Senators and leaders from across the globe. The initiative marked a significant step forward in strengthening JCI Bangladeshโs global engagement and leadership presence within the international JCI community.
The event was graced by the presence of Alejandra Castillo, President of Junior Chamber International (JCI), who joined the Bangladesh delegation for a special networking luncheon. Her interaction with the National Officers and Local Presidents fostered meaningful dialogue, inspiration, and alignment with global leadership priorities.
Hosting the fellowship, Arefeen Raafi Ahmed, National President of JCI Bangladesh, presented the organizationโs Plan of Action for 2026, outlining a visionary roadmap centered on growth, innovation, and impact. The presentation was met with overwhelming enthusiasm, reflecting strong confidence in the future direction of JCI Bangladesh.
In her keynote remarks, President Alejandra Castillo delivered an inspiring message that resonated deeply with the audience. She emphasized the importance of advancing women leadership within JCI, acknowledging the progressive strides made by JCI Bangladesh in this area. Highlighting her global agenda, she also underscored the significance of the Creative Young Entrepreneurs (CYE) program, a flagship initiative of JCI that empowers young innovators by supporting business ideas, startups, and investment opportunities.
The fellowship further extended beyond formal sessions, as delegates visited the JCI Asia-Pacific Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, an experience that deepened their connection with the regional operations of JCI. The event also hosted a memorable dinner cruise in Putrajaya River, offering participants an opportunity to strengthen bonds, celebrate camaraderie, and reflect on shared aspirations.
