IAAS Bangladesh SAU-Dhaka, in collaboration with
Dawn of Bioinformatics Ltd. successfully organized the seminar โ€œDATA TO DISCOVERY: The Future of Agricultural Science and Research Through Bioinformaticsโ€ at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University.

We were honored to have Professor Dr. Md. Abdur Rahim, Chairman, Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University and SK. Faisal Ahmmed, Founder and CEO of Dawn of Bioinformatics as our speakers.

During the session, honorable Professor Dr. Md. Abdur Rahim sir shared insightful discussions on the applications and potential of bioinformatics in agriculture along with inspiring stories from his PhD and research journey.

SK. Faisal Ahmed highlighted the importance of bioinformatics in agriculture, health, and other sectors. He also discussed learning opportunities, career prospects, and effective ways to start learning bioinformatics with proper resources and guidance.

The seminar also featured an interactive Q&A session where students actively shared their questions and thoughts followed by a quiz competition and prize-giving ceremony that made the event even more engaging for the participants.

We were also privileged by the presence and encouragement of honorable Professor Dr. Md. Belal Hossain, Pro-Vice Chancellor; Professor Dr. Md. Arfan Ali, Proctor; Sayed Mashequl Bari, Assistant Professor and Chairman, Department of Aquatic Animal Health Management; and Abdur Rahman Rafy, Advisor, IAAS Bangladesh SAU-Dhaka. Their support and inspiring words greatly motivated the participants and contributed to the success of the program.
