On the occasion of International Women’s Day, I extend my heartfelt greetings and congratulations to all women on behalf of Volunteer for Environment (VFE).
Women are one of the driving forces behind social progress, human values, and sustainable development. At every level of family, society, and the state, women continue to make significant contributions through their talent, dedication, and leadership. Their role is especially vital in environmental protection, addressing climate change, and building a sustainable future.

VOLUNTEER FOR ENVIRONMENT (VFE) – Youth for Climate Justice | Khulna District Recruitment
Under the Volunteer For Environment (VFE) “Youth for Climate Justice” program, recruitment is now open for young volunteers in Khulna District. As Bangladesh’s coastal belt remains one of the most climate-vulnerable regions in the world, this initiative provides a significant opportunity for Khulna’s youth to engage in meaningful climate leadership.
According to the organization, “By joining this platform, young people from Khulna will not only contribute to environmental protection but also become part of the global climate justice movement.”
Selected volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in climate awareness campaigns, environmental education programs in schools and colleges, eco-skill development sessions, data surveys, social forestry, and community-based climate adaptation activities in coastal areas. They will also have access to national and international conferences, training programs, and climate justice projects.
Any young person aged 15–35 from Khulna can apply. After online registration, shortlisted applicants will go through an orientation and training process before final selection as volunteers.

সংগঠনটির মতে, “এই প্ল্যাটফর্মে যুক্ত হয়ে খুলনার তরুণরা শুধু পরিবেশ রক্ষায় ভূমিকা রাখবেন না, বরং বৈশ্বিক জলবায়ু আন্দোলনের অংশ হতে পারবেন।”

স্বেচ্ছাসেবীরা জলবায়ু সচেতনতা ক্যাম্পেইন, স্কুল–কলেজে পরিবেশ শিক্ষা কর্মসূচি, ইকো-স্কিল ডেভেলপমেন্ট, ডেটা সার্ভে, সামাজিক বনায়ন, এবং উপকূলীয় দুর্যোগ মোকাবিলায় কমিউনিটি অ্যাকশনে কাজ করার সুযোগ পাবেন। পাশাপাশি জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক সম্মেলন, প্রশিক্ষণ এবং জলবায়ু ন্যায়বিচার বিষয়ক প্রকল্পে যুক্ত হওয়ার সুযোগ আছে।
