United Nations General Assembly designated 27 June as “Micro-, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises Day” to raise awareness of the tremendous contributions of micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

MSMEs account for 90% of businesses, 60 to 70% of employment and 50% of GDP worldwide. As the backbone of societies everywhere they contribute to local and national economies and to sustaining livelihoods, in particular among the working poor, women, youth, and groups in vulnerable situations. This year, the International Trade Centre (ITC) marks the 5th anniversary of MSME Day, and small businesses are more than ever in need of support, as they navigate the impacts of the COVID pandemic, conflicts and the climate crisis.

খাবার তৈরির প্রক্রিয়া পরিবর্তন করে পুষ্টিকর খাবারও সুস্বাদু ভাবে রান্না করা যেতে পারে। যেমন: কমলালেবুর পাল্প, মিষ্টি আলু বেকারি আইটেমের জন্য ময়দার বিকল্প হিসেবে অথবা কুমড়োর ভাজা বীজ নাস্তা হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে।

এসব খাবার যেমন সুস্বাদু তেমনি পুষ্টিকর। এই খাবারগুলো দেখতে ও স্বাদে বাইরের খাবারের মতো কিন্তু এতে কম ক্যালোরি, কম স্যাচুরেটেড ফ্যাট, বেশি আয়রন, বেশি জিঙ্ক, বেশি ভিটামিন, বেশি ক্যালসিয়াম, সামগ্রিকভাবে উচ্চ পুষ্টিমান রয়েছে।

পুষ্টিকর খাবারে পুষ্টি নিশ্চিত করার সাথে সাথে সুস্বাদুও করা যেতে পারে।
