বিগত বছর দেশের দক্ষিণ পূর্বাঞ্চলে ভয়াবহ বন্যায় ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত ৪টি পরিবারকে বন্যাউত্তর স্ব স্ব পেশায় পুনবাসণের লক্ষ্যে “সাহসী পরিবার” কর্মসূচির আওতায় ফেনী জেলাধীন ফুলগাজী উপজেলার তাড়ালিয়া, আনন্দপুর ও শ্রীপুর গ্রামের ৪টি পরিবারকে ব্যবসা সংগঠনের জন্য বিনালাভে ফেরতযোগ্য ৫০,০০০/- করে পুঁজি বিতরণ করা হয়েছিল। প্রত্যাশা ছিল ০৯ মাসব্যাপী কর্মসূচী চলাকালীন সংশ্লিষ্ট পরিবারগুলো নতুন করে ব্যবসা সংগঠন করবেন এবং দৈনিক গড় আয় বিদ্যমান ২৫০/- হতে নুন্যপক্ষে ১,০০০/- উন্নীত করবেন।
কর্মসূচির ধারণামতে বর্ণিত কর্মসূচি সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৫ সালের শেষ হয়েছে। ৯/১১/২০২৫ তারিখ কার্যক্রমটির আনুষ্ঠানিক সমাপনী দিবসে ফাউন্ডেশনের মহাসচিব সহ কর্মসূচী বাস্তবায়নের স্থানীয় পক্ষগণ (যুবউন্নয়ন অধিদপ্তর ও মুন্সিরহাট পল্লীউন্নয়ন সংস্থার কর্মকর্তাবৃন্দ) বাস্তবায়িত প্রকল্পগুলো সরেজমিনে পরিদর্শন করেন। পরিদর্শনে দেখা যায় ৪টি পরিবারই যথাযথভাবে প্রকল্প স্থাপন করে ব্যবসা পরিচালন করছেন। তাদের আয় ব্যয়ের হিসাব পর্যালোচনা করে দেখা যায় তারা তাদের দৈনিক গড় আয় ২৫০/- হতে বৃদ্ধি পেয়ে ৭৪০/- টাকায় উন্নীত হয়েছে। ৪টি পরিবারের মধ্যে ৩টি পরিবারই তাদের মূল প্রকল্পের পাশাপাশি আরো একটি প্রকল্প শুরু করেছেন। ফলে পরিবারগুলোর কার্যক্রম অধীক টেকসই হবে বলে আশা করা যায়। লক্ষনীয় যে পরিবারগুলো নির্ধারিত সময়ের মধ্যে বিনিয়োগকৃত অর্থ এবং সঞ্চয় ফেরত প্রদান করেছেন যার পরিমাণ পরিবার প্রতি ৫০,০০০ + ৪,৮০০ = ৫৪,৮০০/-। কর্মসূচীর নীতিমতে সমাপনী অনুষ্ঠানে ৪টি পরিবারকে পুনরায় ৫৪,৮০০/- প্রদান করা হয়েছে যাতে করে তারা প্রকল্প সমৃদ্ধকরণের মাধ্যমে টেকসই উন্নয়ন করতে সমর্থ হন। স্থানীয়ভাবে কর্মসূচী বাস্তবায়নে অভিভাবকত্ব প্রদান, নিয়মিত পরিদর্শন ও বিনিয়োগ ফেরত গ্রহনে মুন্সিরহাট পল্লীউন্নয়ন সংস্থার সভাপতি অত্যন্ত দক্ষতার স্বাক্ষর রেখেছেন। উপজেলা যুবউন্নয়ন অফিস ফুলগাজী এ কাজে অভিভাবকত্ব প্রদান করেছে।

The Southeastern part of the country affected by the devastating flash flood in the the month of August-September last year (2024). Like various social development organization “Gen Harun & Layla Foundation” developed a program “Shahoshi Paribar” to rehabilitate few affected families to re-establish their own profession through which they can earn their livelihood. Under the “Shahoshi Poribar” program, 4 families were provided with interest free refundable seed money TK 50,000/- each for business organization at Taralia, Anandapur and Sreepur villages of Fulgazi upazila under Feni district to rehabilitate them in their respective professions after the rescission of floods. The expectation was that during the 9-month program, the concerned families would reorganize new businesses and increase their average daily net income from the existing TK 250/- to at least TK 1,000/-.
According to the concept of the program, in September 2025 the program ended. On the official closing day of the program on 09 November 2025, the Secretary General of the Foundation along with the local parties implementing the program (Officers of the Department of Youth Development and Munshirhat Rural Development Shangshtha) inspected the implemented projects on-site. The inspection showed that all 4 families were properly setting up projects and running businesses. Reviewing their income and expenditure accounts, it is seen that their average daily net income has increased from 250/- to 740/- taka. Out of the 4 families, 3 families have started another project in addition to their main project. As a result, it is expected that the economic activities of the families will be more sustainable. Four families have returned the invested money and family savings within the stipulated time, the amount of which is TK 50,000 + 4,800 = 54,800/- per family. According to the policy of the program, Tk 54,800/- was again given to 4 families at the closing ceremony so that they can achieve sustainable economic growth through project enrichment. The President of Munshirhat Rural Development Shangshtha has shown great efficiency in providing leadership, regular inspections and receiving investment returns in the implementation of the program locally. Upazila Youth Development Office Fulgazi has provided guardianship in this work.
