Zonta Club of Dhaka II proudly inaugurated the continuing Self Defence Course for Adolescent Girls at Gulshan Ladies Club Free School. We were honored by the presence of the distinguished members of Gulshan Ladies Club, including President Tahera Muzaffar, Advocate Salma Ali, Abida Ali whose encouragement and support made the occasion even more meaningful.

Together, we remain committed to equipping young girls with essential self-defence skills, building their confidence, and fostering a safer, stronger future for every girl.

Zonta Lends a Hand For Humanity

There are occasions when the worth of an offering is not reckoned by its size, but by the compassion that inspires it.
Our contribution to Hashimukh for the flood-devastated families of Chittagong may be but a drop in an ocean of suffering, yet oceans themselves are born of countless drops. Every Zontian across Bangladesh chose to give—not because we possessed much, but because we could not remain unmoved. For that, I offer my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you.
My sincere appreciation also to our esteemed former Minister and the Founder of Zonta in Bangladesh, whose generous support lent further grace to this humanitarian endeavour.
Perhaps the Almighty allows such calamities to unfold not merely to test the resilience of those who suffer, but to reveal the conscience of those who witness. In those defining moments, neutrality is a choice; humanity is a duty.
The Zonta family of Bangladesh chose humanity. We chose sisterhood. We chose hope.
May we never become so comfortable that another's anguish ceases to disturb our peace—for the truest measure of civilisation is not what we accumulate, but what we are willing to share.

A Journey Towards Economic Empowerment

Empowering Women, Transforming Lives 💛
The Zonta Club of Dhaka II proudly celebrates the successful completion of its sustainable vocational training project. Five underprivileged women received certificates after completing a four-month training programme in cutting and sewing at the Singer Sewing School.
To support their journey towards financial independence, each graduate was presented with a personal sewing machine, enabling them to establish their own livelihood and build a better future for themselves and their families.
This initiative reflects our commitment to women's economic empowerment, sustainable development, and creating lasting opportunities through education and skills.

A New Chapter of Leadership Begins! 💛

The Biennial Induction Ceremony of the newly appointed Board of the Zonta Club of Dhaka II marked the beginning of another inspiring term of service, leadership, and commitment to empowering women and building a better world.

We were deeply honoured that the ceremony was graced by Immediate Past Governor, District 25, Ztn Dr Zareen Delawar, whose inspiring presence, words of wisdom, and continued dedication to Zonta's mission made the occasion even more memorable.
