While surveying in rural areas of Bangladesh, the IPAO team found a worrying reality — many tubewells are left unhygienic, putting entire families at risk every single day.

What looks like clean water can actually carry invisible dangers.

When tubewells are surrounded by mud, waste, or placed too close to latrines, harmful bacteria easily contaminate the water — especially during the rainy season.

This leads to diseases like diarrhea, skin infections, and other serious health conditions that affect children the most.

For many families, this is their only source of drinking water.
But without proper care, that same source becomes a silent threat.
Clean water is not just about access — it’s about awareness and everyday habits.

👉 Simple actions can save lives:
• Keep the tubewell area clean and dry
• Ensure proper drainage around the platform
• Maintain a safe distance from latrines
• Avoid stagnant water near the source

IPAO is working to raise awareness and promote safe hygiene practices — because safe water should never be a risk.

Can you imagine? Even today, 65 million people still use unhygienic toilets. Every day, people are getting sick, and the impact falls most heavily on children.

Every day, hundreds of families travel long distances to collect water from the river.
Using this water exposes them to various waterborne diseases. They have no access to safe drinking water.
They rely on ponds, rivers, canals, and ditches to meet their daily water needs.
Let us stand beside these people and ensure safe water reaches them.

🚰 Safe Drinking Water Is Not a Luxury — It’s a Basic Right 💧
In many rural villages across Bangladesh, families still depend on tube wells contaminated with excessive iron and other harmful elements. The water may look clear, but tests like these reveal the hidden dangers our communities face every single day.

Today, during our field visit, we tested local drinking water — and the results were alarming. This is what thousands of families, including children and the elderly, consume daily.

🌿 Clean water means better health, dignity, and a safer future.
No mother should fear the water her child drinks. No family should be forced to live with unsafe water simply because they are poor or forgotten.

✨ We are working to provide safe drinking water solutions — but we cannot do it alone.
Your support helps us install safe water systems, test water quality, raise awareness, and ensure that every family has access to clean and safe drinking water.

🤝 Stand with us. Support our mission. Be a part of the change.
Together, we can make clean water a reality for everyone.
