On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, OAB Foundation proudly joined the citizens' gathering, mime performance, and poster distribution campaign titled "Renewable Energy Now" at Shyamoli Park, Dhaka.
The event brought together environmental organizations, youth groups, researchers, cultural activists, and concerned citizens to raise a united voice for renewable energy, climate justice, and a sustainable future.
As Bangladesh continues to face the growing impacts of climate change, it is essential to accelerate the transition from fossil fuels to clean and renewable energy. Investing in solar and wind energy, reducing dependence on fossil fuels, and promoting sustainable energy policies are crucial steps toward protecting both people and the planet.
Through awareness activities, including a powerful mime performance and poster distribution, participants called for urgent climate action and greater public commitment to environmental protection.
At OAB Foundation, we believe that meaningful change begins with informed communities, active youth, and collective action. Together, we can build a greener, healthier, and more resilient Bangladesh for future generations.
