🚀 INTER DEPARTMENT MATH CHALLENGE

We’re introducing a brand-new segment with a competitive twist—strategy, confidence, and quick thinking will decide the winner.

Team Formation

Each team must consist of 3 members
Each team will represent a different department (Depending on the participation)

Structure

The competition will be held in 3 rounds

Rules and Regulations:

🔹 Rule-1

A team will pick a question
Correct answer: +2 points
Wrong answer: –2 points

👉 Example:
If Team A picks a question and answers correctly → Team A gets +2 points
If Team A answers wrong → Team A gets –2 points

🔹 Rule-2

After picking a question, a team can challenge another team instead of answering

👉 Example:
If Team A challenges Team B:

If Team B answers correctly → Team B gets +3 points, Team A gets –3 points
If Team B fails to answer → Team B gets –3 points, Team A gets +3 points

🔹 Rule-3

If a team cannot answer or doesn’t know the answer, they must challenge another team
Passing is not allowed

👉 Example:
If Team A doesn’t know the answer, they cannot skip. They must challenge Team B (or any other team).

Get ready to test not just your math skills, but your strategy and nerve. Every move matters.

--> Problem-solving and analytical thinking
--> No advanced theory—focus on smart thinking

⚠️ Note: The challenge includes strategy based rounds, not just direct problem solving.

Gear up for Puzzle Hunt 3.0, a flagship event of Intra University Math Fest 4.0! Before the challenge begins, here’s everything you and your team need to know to be fully prepared:

📌 Deadline: April 21, 2026 at 11:59 PM

📌 General Guidelines:
✅ Please report to the venue by 1:00 PM sharp
✅ The hunt starts exactly at 2:00 PM – don’t be late!
✅ 📍 Venue: Void Space, Dept. of CSE, 7th Floor, UAP
✅ 💸 Registration Fee: 100 BDT per team
– Pay via Bkash (01774815566) or cash at the venue before the event
✅ All team members must be from the same department
✅ 🍪 Each team will receive snacks to keep the brain running!
✅ 🧠 Clues will be shared as QR codes – at least one team member should have a smartphone with a QR scanner
✅ Don’t tamper with any university property – play fair and responsibly
✅ Bring a pen and notebook – note-taking might help a lot!
✅ Respect all volunteers and follow the instructions given during the hunt

🎯 Puzzle Hunt is about logic, teamwork, and thinking outside the box. It’s fast-paced, challenging, and incredibly fun!
