Our Research Trainee, Dr. Ramisa Fariha, has been selected for the Bangla Academy's Three-Month Research Paper Programme (3rd Phase).
Research Title:
"Prevention of Cervical and Breast Cancer at the Grassroots Level: Current Situation and Future Strategic Planning"

বাংলা একাডেমির গবেষণা-প্রবন্ধ কর্মসূচিতে আলো ভুবন ট্রাস্ট (Alo Bhubon Trust)-এর রিসার্চ ট্রেইনি-এর সাফল্য
গবেষণার মাধ্যমে জনস্বাস্থ্যে ইতিবাচক পরিবর্তন আনাই আলো ভুবন ট্রাস্ট (Alo Bhubon Trust)-এর অন্যতম লক্ষ্য। সেই পথচলায় আমাদের জন্য এটি অত্যন্ত আনন্দ ও গর্বের একটি অর্জন।
আলো ভুবন ট্রাস্ট (Alo Bhubon Trust)-এর রিসার্চ ট্রেইনি ডা. রামিসা ফারিহা বাংলা একাডেমির তিন মাস মেয়াদি গবেষণা-প্রবন্ধ (তৃতীয় পর্যায়) কর্মসূচির জন্য চূড়ান্তভাবে নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন।
তাঁর গবেষণার বিষয়—
“প্রান্তিকপর্যায়ে জরায়ু মুখ ও স্তন ক্যানসার প্রতিরোধ:
বর্তমান অবস্থা এবং ভবিষ্যৎ কর্মকৌশল পরিকল্পনা
”
বাংলাদেশে জরায়ুমুখ ও স্তন ক্যানসার প্রতিরোধে প্রান্তিক জনগোষ্ঠীর নারীরা নানা ধরনের সামাজিক, অর্থনৈতিক ও স্বাস্থ্যসেবা-সংক্রান্ত প্রতিবন্ধকতার সম্মুখীন হন। এই গবেষণার মাধ্যমে সেই বাস্তবতা বিশ্লেষণ করে ভবিষ্যতের জন্য প্রমাণভিত্তিক করণীয় ও নীতিগত দিকনির্দেশনা তুলে ধরার চেষ্টা করা হবে।
বাংলা একাডেমির এই গবেষণা কর্মসূচির অংশ হিসেবে ১৮ জুন আয়োজিত দিনব্যাপী গবেষণা-প্রবন্ধ রচনা বিষয়ক প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মশালায়ও তিনি অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন, যেখানে গবেষণার পদ্ধতি ও একাডেমিক লেখালেখি বিষয়ে বিশেষ প্রশিক্ষণ প্রদান করা হয়।
এই গবেষণার তত্ত্বাবধায়ক হিসেবে রয়েছেন আলো ভুবন ট্রাস্ট( Alo Bhubon Trust)-এর মহাসচিব অধ্যাপক হাসিন আনুপমা আজহারী। তাঁর দিকনির্দেশনা, গবেষণাভিত্তিক চিন্তাভাবনা এবং নিরবচ্ছিন্ন উৎসাহ এই গবেষণাকে আরও সমৃদ্ধ করবে বলে আমরা বিশ্বাস করি।
অধ্যাপক হাসিন আনুপমা আজহারীকে আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন ও কৃতজ্ঞতা। আলো ভুবন ট্রাস্ট( Alo Bhubon Trust)-এর সঙ্গে থেকে গবেষণামুখী একটি নতুন প্রজন্ম গড়ে তোলার যে নিরলস প্রচেষ্টা তিনি চালিয়ে যাচ্ছেন, তার জন্য আমরা তাঁর প্রতি আন্তরিক ধন্যবাদ ও গভীর শ্রদ্ধা জানাই
আলো ভুবন ট্রাস্ট( Alo Bhubon Trust) বিশ্বাস করে, দক্ষ গবেষক তৈরি এবং প্রমাণভিত্তিক গবেষণাকে উৎসাহিত করা জনস্বাস্থ্যের উন্নয়নের জন্য অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। আমাদের রিসার্চ ট্রেইনি-এর এই অর্জন শুধু আলো ভুবন ট্রাস্ট (Alo Bhubon Trust) -এর জন্য গর্বের নয়, বরং ভবিষ্যতে জনস্বাস্থ্য গবেষণায় আরও কার্যকর অবদান রাখার এক নতুন সম্ভাবনার সূচনা।
ডা. রামিসা ফারিহাকে আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন। তাঁর গবেষণার সফল বাস্তবায়ন এবং দেশের জনস্বাস্থ্য খাতে অর্থবহ অবদান কামনা করছি।

This research is being supervised by Professor Hasin Anupama Azhari, Secretary-General of Alo Bhubon Trust, whose mentorship and commitment to advancing research continue to inspire and empower young researchers. We warmly congratulate Professor Azhari on this achievement as the research supervisor and sincerely thank her for her dedicated leadership and for being an invaluable part of the Alo Bhubon Trust family.
As part of the programme, Dr. Fariha also participated in the day-long Research Paper Writing Workshop organized by Bangla Academy on 18 June, where participants received specialized training in research methodology and academic writing.
We are proud of this achievement and remain committed to nurturing skilled researchers who can contribute to impactful, evidence-driven solutions for public health challenges.
