Shokti comes from the meaning of energy and the popular TV series in this continent named ‘Shakti-Maan’ has stereotyped the concept that only man can do the works magically. For decades this concept has been impacting our mindset and putting barriers for women to access skills, jobs, and aspirations to pursue higher goals in energy careers.

🤝 More moments from the Green Skills Summit 2025 ⚡

Here’s something that blew us away: the renewable energy sector didn’t just show up, they showed up for you.

Companies from across solar, clean energy, and green tech came to meet young women, share what they’re building, and talk honestly about the talent they need. Their energy (pun intended ☀️) and their commitment to an inclusive green movement were truly extraordinary.

🌱 Shoktikonna 3rd Cohort Graduate Sunayda Jahan Sruty and her husband Alvee’s tinysamples was selected among 1,000+ projects at the Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026 and presented before the Prime Minister of Bangladesh!

The web app can support laboratories working across life sciences, environmental science, physical sciences, renewable energy research, and more.

With 120+ researchers, professors and students engaged at the fair and an international collaboration opportunity emerging, Sunayda continues to turn a real research challenge into meaningful innovation. 🌍 🚀

Yesterday, our Shoktikonna graduates joined “Emerging Voices: Young Women Leading Renewable Energy,” a dialogue organised by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) under its WEE Project.

There, they shared their experiences and perspectives on women’s participation, opportunities and leadership in the renewable energy sector.
