As the government of Bangladesh finalizes the National Budget 2026-27, Save the Children is calling on the government to put children first and keep allocations that reach the most marginalized.

Our budget asks:
✅ Restore the Child Budget Statement for transparent tracking
✅ Raise education financing to 16% of the budget
✅ Increase health budget to 11%, prioritizing children and mothers
✅ Ring-fence funds for child protection against violence, early marriage, and addiction
✅ Strengthen social protection with needs-based targeting and a Child Benefit Contingency Fund
✅ Invest in climate-resilient schools and green skills for out-of-school girls
