🌳🌱 July Project #1 | Tree Plantation Program 2026 🌱🌳
"Let's Green the Earth, Build a Better Future."
With a shared commitment to protecting the environment, increasing greenery, and creating a healthier and more sustainable world for future generations, the Rotary Club of Cumilla South (RI District 65, Bangladesh) successfully organized a Tree Plantation Program at the historic Dhaneshwar High School, established in 1973.

The program was graced by Rotarian Khandakar Habibur Nabi, Chairman of the School Managing Committee; Mr. A. G. Faruk, Headmaster of Dhaneshwar High School; Past President Rotarian Tapash Paul; Rotarian Arif Mazumder; President Rotarian Faisal Ahmed; Program Chair A. B. Faruk Chowdhury; Rtn. Hannan Bhuiyan; and Md. Arifur Rahman, social worker of Ward No. 26, Cumilla City Corporation.
Also present were Nasir Uddin Pradhan, President of the Rotaract Club of Britannia University; IPP Zahidur Rahman; PP Abdur Rahim Anik; Public Image Director Rezaul Karim Sifat; Imtiaz Hasan Ifty, President of the Rotaract Club of Cumilla South; Nurait Binte Raisa, President of the Interact Club of Cumilla South; along with Siam, Imran Hossain Dipu, and many other dedicated members.
The assistant teachers and students of Dhaneshwar High School also participated enthusiastically, making the event even more meaningful.
It is worth mentioning that the founding Chairman of Dhaneshwar High School was the late Freedom Fighter Advocate Syed Matiur Islam Mintu. Paying tribute to his remarkable legacy, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting education, environmental conservation, and sustainable community development.

Joint Installation Ceremony is a moment of immense pride, joy, and responsibility in my life. I begin by expressing my deepest gratitude to Almighty Allah for blessing me with the opportunity to serve as the President of the Rotaract Club of Britannia University.
This honor is not merely a personal achievement; it reflects the collective trust, dedication, and aspirations of our entire club family. I extend my sincere appreciation to our Sponsor, Rotary Club of Comilla South, our respected advisors, past leaders, members, and all our well-wishers whose unwavering support and encouragement continue to inspire us to move forward.
A Joint Installation Ceremony is more than a transition of leadership; it marks the beginning of renewed enthusiasm, stronger commitment, and greater opportunities. I firmly believe that service cultivates leadership, and true leadership inspires meaningful and lasting change.
During the Rotary Year 2026–2027, we are committed to creating sustainable and positive impact through initiatives focused on education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, youth empowerment, professional development, and humanitarian service. Our vision is to implement meaningful projects that transform lives while strengthening the values and ideals of Rotaract.
