We are deeply honoured to receive the Crest of Recognition for our contribution to youth-led peacebuilding and social cohesion under the YPSC initiative, presented by Professor Dr. Md. Kamal, Executive Director of SHED, on the International Day of Peace 2026.

This recognition is more than an award it celebrates the collective efforts of our young leaders, volunteers, team members, and community partners who continue to work for peace, solidarity, inclusion, and social cohesion.

Our heartfelt gratitude to SHED & ActionAid Bangladesh, European Union in Bangladesh , and the for believing in and supporting youth-led action for peace. Your partnership and commitment have been instrumental in strengthening this journey.

A special appreciation to our dedicated team and volunteers whose passion, time, and perseverance have made every initiative possible. This recognition belongs to each of you.

We are inspired to keep empowering young people, strengthening communities, and building bridges of understanding.

𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐮𝐬, 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫.

The Prottasha Foundation organized a Cultural Fair bringing together the 𝐑𝐨𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐲𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐞 and 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 to celebrate culture, strengthen mutual understanding, and promote social cohesion.

Through traditional food, stories, cultural expressions, and meaningful interaction, young people had the opportunity to proudly share who they are, where they come from, and what their culture means to them while also learning about the heritage of others.

Every dish carries a story. Every tradition carries a history. And every young person who proudly shares their culture helps preserve it for the next generation.

We believe social cohesion does not mean becoming the same. It means respecting our differences, discovering our shared humanity, and creating spaces where communities can listen, understand, and connect.

Different cultures. Different stories. One shared space. One shared hope for peace.

Prottasha Foundation youth-led organization is looking for energetic and dedicated young volunteers to join our journey.

We believe in empowering youth to take action—working side by side with communities to create sustainable solutions and meaningful impact.

𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫:
• School, college, or university students (1st–3rd year)
• Based in Cox’s Bazar
• Age: 16–25 years
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with basic online tools and meetings
• Committed to regular participation
• Able to volunteer at least 7 hours weekly

• Hands-on experience in real community projects
• Exposure to different departments and initiatives

Meet Md Arafat Alam! He recently completed a three-day training on the safe and responsible use of social media and digital platforms.

Our Digital Peace Ambassadors strengthened key skills in fact-checking, digital safety, ethical online engagement, and the responsible use of social media and AI.

Moving forward, we will work closely with them to promote digital narratives for positive peace, counter misinformation, and foster safer, more inclusive online spaces.
