Yesterday's night around 2:10 am, a devastating fire broke out in Camp 16, rapidly spreading through the densely populated area and causing widespread destruction. The blaze destroyed more than 400 shelters, leaving thousands of families homeless within a very short time. Many residents lost everything they owned, including basic household items, food supplies, and important documents.
The fire has created an urgent humanitarian crisis. Affected families are currently in need of emergency shelter, food, clean drinking water, clothing, medical assistance, and hygiene supplies. Children, elderly people, and other vulnerable individuals are especially at risk as they are now exposed to harsh living conditions.
Immediate support and coordinated humanitarian assistance are critically needed to help the affected community recover, ensure safety, and prevent further suffering.
