🌍 1st Joint Response Plan Townhall Meeting | Rohingya Response 2027–2028.

Today, HEART participated in the **1st JRP Townhall Meeting** marking the inauguration of the **Two-Year Strategic Plan for 2027–2028** for the Rohingya Refugee Response in Cox’s Bazar.

The meeting was organized under the **Rohingya Coordination Platform (RCP)**, formerly ISCG, under the supervision of the **Rohingya Coordination Team (RCT)** and presided over by **Filippo, RCP Coordinator**.

Representatives from RCP, sectors, working groups, and local, national and international NGOs participated in the consultation.

On behalf of HEART Rural Development Society, Founder & Executive Director Mr. Jobair Mahmud Jubo participated and shared the "voice and perspectives of Local NGOs" in shaping the upcoming strategic plan.

Public health research is the cornerstone of sustainable humanitarian interventions in Cox's Bazar! 🌍📊

Proud to represent HEART at the recent seminar on *"Importance of Public Health Research: Quest for Greater Development"*, organized by the Department of Public Health - IUB, NGO Platform (NGOP) Cox's Bazar, and HOPE Foundation for Women and Children of Bangladesh at the RRRC Conference Room.

Our honorable Executive Director, Mr. Jobair Mahmud Jubo, and Director of Organizational Advocacy Affairs, Liaison & Partnership, Ms. Hakimun Nessa Bappy, attended as distinguished guests representing local NGO members.

The engaging sessions—led by esteemed speakers including Dr. Bilkis Banu, ARRRC Mr. Nazmul Islam Bhuiyan, Guest of Honor Eng. 🌍 Representing Bangladesh on the Global Stage at UNCCD COP17! 🌿

We are immensely proud to announce that Mr. Mohammad Rasel Amin, PhD candidate at a prestigious university in China and high-level delegate representing HEART Rural Development Society, actively participated at the 17th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP17) held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Carrying the voice of Bangladeshi civil society and rural communities, Mr. Amin engaged in crucial high-level discussions under the global theme, “Restoring Land, Restoring Hope.”

Strategic Meeting Held with HEART’s Enlisted Vendors and Service Providers for Donor-Supported Project Implementation

To further strengthen the transparency, quality, and smooth ex*****on of donor and development partner-supported projects at the grassroots level, HEART recently hosted an important coordination meeting with its enlisted vendor and service-providing partners.

The collaborative session brought together key strategic partners who support HEART's operational and visibility needs:

1. Darbar Press & Printers: Discussed coordination regarding digital printing, promotional materials, and ensuring high-standard visibility support for all project activities.

2. Jalalabad Traders & Supplier: Focused on official appearance, logistical coordination, and reliable supply chains to enhance the institutional presence and presentation of project initiatives.

3. Fast Consultancy Online Firm: Addressed vital technical compliance, official legal support, and professional consultancy services required for standard project management and governance.

কক্সবাজারের উদীচী ও উদ্যমী মানুষের স্বপ্নীল পথচলায় এমন দুর্ঘটনা যেন পিছু ছাড়ছে না। গত বছর টেকনাফ উপরের বাজার ট্র্যাজেডির পর এবার হ্নীলা বাজারে ঘটে যাওয়া মর্মান্তিক অগ্নিকাণ্ড আমাদের গভীরভাবে স্তব্ধ ও শোকাগ্রস্ত করেছে। এটি কেবল একটি বিল্ডিং বা পুঁজি পুড়ে যাওয়া নয়; এর সাথে ছাই হয়ে গেছে কিছু স্বপ্নবাজ তরুণের বছরের পর বছর তিল তিল করে গড়া উদ্যোক্তা হওয়ার স্বপ্ন। এই অপূরণীয় ক্ষতি কোনোভাবেই পুষিয়ে নেওয়ার নয়।

হৃদয়বিদারক এই পরিস্থিতিতে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত ব্যবসায়ী ও পরিবারগুলোর প্রতি ‘হার্ট’ পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে জানাচ্ছি গভীর সমবেদনা ও সহমর্মিতা। অত্যন্ত দুঃখজনক হলেও সত্য যে, এ ধরনের বড় বিপদের পরও অনেক সময় সংশ্লিষ্ট মহল বা উন্নয়ন অংশীদারদের পক্ষ থেকে কার্যকর সাড়া বা জোরালো সহমর্মিতা দেখতে পাওয়া যায় না।

তাই আমরা বিনীত ও জোরালো আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি—শুধু সরকারের এককারণে নয়, বরং এলাকার সম্মানিত এমপি মহোদয়, সকল প্রশাসন, স্থানীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক উন্নয়ন সংস্থাসহ সমাজের বিত্তবান ও মানবিক মানুষদের যার যার অবস্থান থেকে এই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত মানুষগুলোর পাশে দাঁড়ানোর অনুরোধ করছি। আপনাদের একটু সহযোগিতার হাত হয়তো এই উদ্যোক্তাদের আবারও শূন্য থেকে ঘুরে দাঁড়ানোর শক্তি জোগাতে পারে।

আসুন, এই বিভীষিকাময় সময়ে ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের পাশে দাঁড়াই, তাদের চোখের জল মুছতে সহানুভূতির হাত বাড়িয়ে দিই।
