Today, we remember the lives lost, the families separated, the homes destroyed and the suffering endured by our Rohingya people.

Nine years have passed since 25 August 2017 but the pain of that day remain deeply in our hearts. We remember not to reopen wounds but to ensure that the stories of our people are never erased or forgotten.

We remember the victims.
We honor the survivors.
We stand for dignity, justice and human rights.
And we continue to hope for a peaceful and dignified future for the Rohingya people.

Online gambling is a growing trap which is leading to debt, mental stress and financial instability.

Today, ROCRN held another interactive session at Camp-14 to raise awareness, share practical safety tips and listen to the community’s concerns. We believe, education and open conversation are our strongest tools to keep our families safe.

The prevalence of online gambling is increasing within the Rohingya refugee camps that expose vulnerable families to financial ruin, mental health deterioration and social disintegration.

In response, ROCRN conducted a targeted Community Awareness Session at Camp-8W to educate participants on the dangers of online gambling and equip them with practical strategies for prevention.

ROCRN reaffirms its dedication to safeguarding the well-being of orphans, disabled individuals and marginalized families through continuous education and community engagement.

In the Rohingya refugee camps, online gambling is becoming a serious challenge day by day by placing many young people and families at risk of financial loss, addiction, exploitation and social harm. As this online gambling is growing day by day within our community the Rohingya Orphan and Community Relief Network (ROCRN) organized a Community Awareness Session on Online Gambling by bringing together community members to learn about the hidden dangers of online gambling and how to protect themselves and their families.

𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝:
– The psychological and financial impacts of online gambling.
– How gambling traps vulnerable people through false promises of easy money.
– Practical ways to recognize, avoid and report harmful online activities.
– The importance of strengthening families and communities through awareness and education.

At ROCRN, we believe that prevention begins with knowledge and by empowering our community with accurate information, we can build a safer, healthier and more resilient future for everyone in our community.

Today, the Rohingya Orphan and Community Relief Network (ROCRN) successfully distributed essential school supplies to 50 orphaned and underprivileged children as part of its ongoing educational support initiative.

Despite facing significant daily hardships, these orphaned learners remain steadfast in their pursuit of education. ROCRN provided each orphaned child with exercise books, pens, erasers, rulers, pencils, sharpeners, plastic bag and basic required materials to support their academic journey.

We believe that education is not merely a fundamental right but it is a transformative force capable of reshaping futures and breaking the cycle of poverty. Through this program, ROCRN seeks to alleviate the financial burden on struggling families while reinforcing the importance of sustained learning of academic journey and we firmly believe that every child, regardless of background and circumstance deserves equitable access to quality education.

On this World Refugee Day, the Rohingya Orphan and Community Relief Network stands in solidarity with all refugees around the world who have been forced to flee their homes in search of safety, dignity and hope.

We honor the strength, resilience and courage of every refugee child, mother and father who continues to survive despite unimaginable hardships. Refugees are not numbers, they are human beings with dreams, rights and a future that must be protected.

Let this day remind the world that: Peace is not a privilege. It is a right.
Safety is not optional. It is a responsibility.

Today, Rohingya Orphan and Community Relief Network distributed essential school learning materials to 20 orphaned and underprivileged children.

These children face many difficulties in their daily lives, yet they continue to hold on to their dreams of learning. To support their education, ROCRN provided exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers, scales, sharpeners and stools.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our generous donors for standing beside these orphaned and vulnerable families. Your kindness and support provide not only school materials but also hope, confidence, and new opportunities to children who need them most.

Education is more than a right, it is a powerful force that can transform lives and open the door to a better future. Through this initiative, ROCRN aims to ease the burden on struggling families and encourage children to remain motivated and focused on their educational path.

𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐦.

The Rohingya Orphan and Community Relief Network successfully conducted a community awareness session in the Rohingya refugee camps.

The session was organized to raise awareness among the Rohingya refugee community members about the serious risks and harmful consequences of online gambling in daily life.

Participants including youths, women and elderly men actively took part in the session and engaged in open discussions about the issue.

They were informed about how gambling can lead to addiction, financial instability, rising debt and long-term social and emotional damage affecting individuals, families and the community members within the refugee camps.

The discussion also highlighted how online gambling can weaken household stability, increase hardship and negatively impact the future of youth living in the camp environment.

ROCRN strongly supports the importance of continuous awareness programs in the Rohingya refugee camps to protect vulnerable people and promote a safer, healthier and more responsible community.
