Despite facing displacement, uncertainty, and daily challenges, they continue to show extraordinary strength, love, and dedication in caring for their families and communities.

Today, we recognize their sacrifices, uplift their voices, and stand in solidarity with all refugee mothers striving for dignity, safety, and hope for a better future.

𝘼𝙡𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝,
On 𝟮 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝘼𝙧𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙣 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙄𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 (𝘼𝙃𝙄) supported 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣-𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙨 in the 𝙍𝙤𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙮𝙖 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙜𝙚𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙝.

We distributed 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙝 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 to families whose 𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙮𝙚𝙙 by 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙮 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨.

This support will help them 𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙨 and buy 𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨.
𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙨𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙨 to many faces.

𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 (𝐀𝐇𝐈) – 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

The Arakan Hope Initiative (AHI), in coordination with the Rohingya Youth Empowerment Initiative ( RYEI) held a Monthly General Meeting with senior members.

The meeting focused on:
• 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
• 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞
• 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 & 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

Members completed the membership form and showed 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 to continue serving the Rohingya community.

A 𝐎𝐧𝐞-𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 with the Youth Organization for Social Development (YOSD) was also discussed.

This is truly heartbreaking. What is happening to our people in Myanmar and in the refugee camps in Bangladesh is a painful reality that cannot be ignored. It is difficult to blame those who risk everything—crossing dangerous seas and uncertain borders—just to find safety and dignity.

These journeys are not a choice; they are a sign of deep systemic failure. When people no longer feel safe in their own homeland, when hope disappears, they are forced to take unimaginable risks simply to survive.

We must acknowledge this truth. No one should have to leave their home, their identity, and their past behind just to stay alive. Yet today, many are left with no other option.

A look at the deadly maritime journeys that are a recurring feature of a long-running humanitarian crisis, as refugees from Myanmar continue to risk their lives on overcrowded, unseaworthy boats.

Today, the Arakan Hope Initiative -AHI and the Rohingya Youth Empowerment Initiative - RYEI stood in solidarity with Pyinya Metta Community High School in Camp 3, Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.

We supported students, especially orphan children, with stationery materials, whiteboards, and stools to help them continue their education.

Their dreams touched our hearts. Many of these children have no one to support them, yet they still carry hope for a better future.

We are committed to standing beside them.
