On Saturday, June 20, YASID Executive Director Kysar Hamid visited Charulata School, Chattogram, for a special volunteer development session focused on strengthening communication skills.

The visit began with a warm welcome from the children through a beautiful group music performance, creating a memorable moment for everyone.

Later, Pial, Program Coordinator of the Teaching Peace Through Music International PTMI, facilitated an interactive session on Mental Peace. Through discussions, team activities, and engaging games, volunteers explored new ideas and shared experiences in a supportive learning environment.

On Friday, June 19, the music classroom in Chattogram was filled with learning, creativity, and joyful moments.

As part of the Teaching Peace Through Music Program Coordinator, Pial Kanti Shil visited the session to observe the music volunteers’ practice and the children’s learning progress. He joined the class and guided the children through different musical activities.

The children practiced songs from their music book with penny whistles, revised previous lessons, and participated in fun activities that made the learning experience more engaging. The session ended with classical music practice and a joyful performance by the young learners.
