🌿 ASTA Foundation is now a Signatory to the Climate & Environment Charter for Humanitarian Organizations.

We are proud to announce that ASTA Foundation has officially become a signatory to the Climate & Environment Charter for Humanitarian Organizations following a two-day workshop organized by Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) Bangladesh under the ECT WASH Project in Dhaka.

Representing Cox's Bazar, ASTA Foundation joined PHALS , Ornab Cox's Bazar - অর্ণব কক্সবাজার and Suzala Mahila Samiti - SMS in this important journey towards building greener, more climate-resilient humanitarian action.

By signing this Charter, ASTA Foundation commits to seven key climate and environmental commitments, including:

🌍 Strengthening climate adaptation and disaster preparedness.
♻️ Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting environmentally sustainable operations.
🤝 Supporting local leadership and community-led climate action.
📊 Using evidence and knowledge to address climate and environmental risks.

⚡ বিদ্যুৎ সাশ্রয়—আমাদের সবার দায়িত্ব।

বিদ্যুৎ সাশ্রয় ও বিদ্যুৎ ব্যবস্থাপনা কার্যক্রম জোরদারের লক্ষ্যে কক্সবাজার জেলা প্রশাসনের নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী শপিংমল, মার্কেট ও দোকানপাট সকাল ১১টা থেকে রাত ৮টা পর্যন্ত খোলা রাখা যাবে। একই সঙ্গে সন্ধ্যা ৭টার মধ্যে আলোকিত বিলবোর্ড বন্ধ এবং আলোকসজ্জা বন্ধ রাখার নির্দেশনা দেওয়া হয়েছে।

আসুন, আমরা সবাই সরকারি নির্দেশনা মেনে চলি এবং প্রয়োজনের অতিরিক্ত বিদ্যুৎ ব্যবহার থেকে বিরত থাকি।

একটু সচেতনতা, একটু সাশ্রয়—বিদ্যুৎ ব্যবস্থাপনায় বড় অবদান। 💚
