🔐 Building Digital Awareness Among Youth for a Safer Online Future

The digital world has opened up countless opportunities for learning, communication, creativity, and self-expression. At the same time, young people are increasingly exposed to online harassment, scams, privacy violations, misinformation, and other digital risks.

To promote awareness and responsible digital engagement, Youth Action for Rights and Justice (YARJ) successfully facilitated a session on Digital Security and Responsible Use of Social Media with youth in Camp 16.

During the session, participants explored important topics including:

🔹 Protecting personal information and online privacy
🔹 Password and account security
🔹 Preventing and responding to online harassment
🔹 Identifying and verifying misinformation
🔹 Responsible and safe use of social media
🔹 Building a safer, positive, and inclusive digital space

We believe that an informed and empowered generation of young people can play a vital role in creating a safer, more responsible, and inclusive digital society. 🌱📱

জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের প্রভাব শুধু পরিসংখ্যানের বিষয় নয়; এটি মানুষের জীবনের বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতা। "Climate Memory Map: উপকূলের গল্প, ভবিষ্যতের সমাধান" উদ্যোগের মাধ্যমে আমরা সেই অভিজ্ঞতাগুলোকে একত্র করছি, যাতে স্থানীয় মানুষের কণ্ঠ ভবিষ্যতের জলবায়ু সমাধানের অংশ হয়ে ওঠে।

Theme: "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future."

Nature provides us with clean air, water, food, and the resources that sustain life. Yet climate change, pollution, and environmental degradation continue to threaten our planet and our future.
On this World Environment Day, Youth Action For Rights & Justice calls on everyone to take responsibility for protecting the environment through simple but meaningful actions—reducing waste, conserving resources, planting trees, and promoting sustainable practices in our communities.
By working together and learning from nature, we can build a more resilient, climate-friendly, and sustainable future for all.

🌙 পবিত্র ঈদুল আযহার শুভেচ্ছা 🌙
পবিত্র ঈদুল আযহা ত্যাগ, সহমর্মিতা ও মানবিক মূল্যবোধের অনন্য শিক্ষা বহন করে।
এই পবিত্র উপলক্ষে Youth Action for Rights and Justice এর পক্ষ থেকে সবাইকে জানাই আন্তরিক ঈদ মোবারক।
ঈদের আনন্দ উদযাপনের পাশাপাশি পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণেও আমাদের সচেতন ভূমিকা জরুরি। কুরবানীর বর্জ্য যথাযথভাবে অপসারণ, পরিচ্ছন্নতা বজায় রাখা এবং প্লাস্টিকের ব্যবহার কমানোর মাধ্যমে আমরা একটি স্বাস্থ্যকর ও নিরাপদ পরিবেশ নিশ্চিত করতে পারি।
সবার জন্য শান্তি, নিরাপত্তা ও কল্যাণময় হোক এবারের ঈদ। ❤️

“আর কত?”
আর কত শিশু ধর্ষণ, হত্যা ও নির্মম সহিংসতার শিকার হলে আমাদের বিবেক জাগ্রত হবে?
আর কত পরিবার সন্তান হারানোর যন্ত্রণা বয়ে বেড়াবে?
আর কতবার আমরা শুধুই প্রতিবাদ জানিয়ে আবার নীরব হয়ে যাব?
আজ শহীদ মিনারে অনুষ্ঠিত শান্তিপূর্ণ প্রতিবাদ কর্মসূচিতে Youth Action for Rights and Justice সহ বিভিন্ন যুব সংগঠন একত্রিত হয়ে শিশুদের প্রতি ক্রমবর্ধমান ধর্ষণ, হত্যা ও সকল ধরনের সহিংসতার বিরুদ্ধে দৃঢ় অবস্থান নিয়েছে।
আমরা স্পষ্টভাবে বলতে চাই—শিশুদের নিরাপত্তা কোনো দয়া নয়, এটি তাদের মৌলিক অধিকার। একটি নিরাপদ, মানবিক ও সহিংসতামুক্ত সমাজ গঠনে এখনই কার্যকর পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া জরুরি। অপরাধীদের দ্রুত বিচার ও দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তি নিশ্চিত করতে হবে।
এই আন্দোলন শুধু একটি দিনের কর্মসূচি নয়; এটি আমাদের মানবিক দায়িত্ব, আমাদের সম্মিলিত প্রতিবাদ এবং ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মের নিরাপত্তার জন্য একটি অঙ্গীকার।
আমরা ন্যায়বিচারের পক্ষে।
আমরা শিশুদের নিরাপত্তার পক্ষে।
আমরা নীরব নই। ✊

আর কত?

আর কত শিশু ধর্ষণের শিকার হবে?
আর কত নারী নির্যাতনের ভয় নিয়ে বাঁচবে?
আর কত পরিবার বিচারহীনতার যন্ত্রণা বহন করবে?

নারী ও শিশুদের প্রতি চলমান সহিংসতা, ধর্ষণ ও নির্যাতনের বিরুদ্ধে আজ কক্সবাজার শহীদ মিনারে মানববন্ধন ও প্রতিবাদ কর্মসূচিতে সোচ্চার হয়েছে কক্সবাজার ইয়ুথ হাব, সাংবাদিক, আইনজীবী ও বিভিন্ন যুব সংগঠনের তরুণরা। ✊

প্রতিবাদে অংশ নেওয়া শিশু, তরুণ ও নাগরিকদের হাতে ছিল ন্যায়বিচার, নিরাপত্তা ও সহিংসতামুক্ত সমাজের দাবিতে লেখা প্ল্যাকার্ড। তাদের কণ্ঠে ছিল একটাই বার্তা.

“ভয়ের সংস্কৃতি বন্ধ হোক”
“ধর্ষণের বিচার নিশ্চিত হোক”
“নিরাপদ সমাজ আমাদের অধিকার”

নিরাপদ সমাজ কোনো বিলাসিতা নয়, এটি প্রতিটি মানুষের মৌলিক অধিকার। বিচারহীনতার সংস্কৃতি বন্ধ করে দ্রুত বিচার ও দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তি নিশ্চিত করতে হবে এখনই।
