We RYR team,I am truly proud of this initiative by the Examination Board. After almost a decade, some educated members of the Rohingya community have established this platform to bring sustainable development to education. Finally, they have succeeded.

Another important achievement is that they have organized and managed everything properly for the students, giving them hope, direction and a sense of purpose.

Education is the only powerful tool that can change our future and today this initiative has opened a new door for thousands of Rohingya students to dream bigger and aim higher.

We would like to wish all Grade 12 students the very best. May your hard work bring you success and may you become a source of pride for your community.

Huge congratulations to the Examination Board of Rohingya Refugees team. Your hard work and dedication are now clearly visible to everyone.

You have proven that with the right mindset, unity and determination, anything is possible. This is not just an achievement, but a strong message of hope for the entire Rohingya community.

Thank you to each and every one of you for making this a reality. We sincerely appreciate your leadership and commitment. Keep moving forward and continue to inspire others.

In a news release, the NGO denounces the conditions of the Muslim refugees from Myanmar’s Rakhine State. More than 5,000 are held in migrant detention centres. Since Malaysia never ratified the refugee convention, it does not formally recognise their status.

Joint Statement | 6 February 2026

The Rohingya Youth Rights(RYR) has joined a collective statement demanding the immediate and unconditional release of Rohingya civilians who have been unjustly detained by the Arakan Army (AA).

Having already endured persecution under the Myanmar military, Rohingya communities are once again experiencing serious threats, large-scale detentions, displacement, and ongoing insecurity in areas controlled by the AA in Rakhine State. Reports indicate that over 150,000 people have been forced to leave their homes.

We firmly denounce these actions, which may constitute serious violations of international law, and urge the global community and the International Criminal Court (ICC) to take urgent steps to ensure protection for Rohingya civilians and accountability for those responsible.

Delayed justice denies victims their rights. Global silence allows suffering to continue.

😢 Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. 😢 🙏

We are profoundly saddened by the passing of Begum Khaleda Zia, the first female Prime Minister of Bangladesh and a towering figure in the nation’s political history, who breathed her last early today at the age of 80 after a prolonged illness in Evercare Hospital.
Begum Khaleda Zia was a steadfast leader whose life was defined by her struggle for democratic ideals and her unyielding spirit. Her multiple terms as Prime Minister and her role as Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) left an indelible impact on the nation’s democratic evolution and political landscape. She stood as a symbol of resilience, courage and leadership in both triumph and adversity.
Her concern for humanitarian causes was also visible beyond politics: she visited the Rohingya refugee camps in 2017 and extended support to people displaced by violence, affirming her commitment to humanity and compassion in times of crisis. prayers from the Rohingya community reflect that lasting memory of care and solidarity.
As we reflect on her life and legacy, we pray:
May Allah (SWT) grant her Jannatul Firdaus,
forgive her shortcomings, and bestow mercy upon her soul.
May He grant patience, strength and solace
to her family, her supporters, and all those mourning her loss during this difficult time.
Ameen.
Her contributions to her country’s political journey, her resilience in the face of hardship, and her service to the people will be remembered with respect and honor

For the past eight years, we Rohingya youth have been continuously raising awareness on human trafficking, working tirelessly for five of those years to protect our community from this cruel crime. Yet, throughout this long struggle not a single INGO or GNGO has truly stood alongside the youth. Today, those same organizations proudly claim that they have invested millions of dollars to combat human trafficking in the camps. But a painful question remains unanswered.Where were those millions used, when the situation on the ground continues to worsen?

Human trafficking is not decreasing it is expanding, evolving and trapping more vulnerable people than ever before. If such enormous funds were genuinely used for prevention, protection, and justice, then why do our brothers and sisters still disappear in the hands of traffickers? Why do the youth remain unsupported, unrecognized, and unheard despite being the frontline defenders of our community?

It is time to confront these uncomfortable truths. Accountability must not be optional; transparency must not be a slogan. The Rohingya youth have been doing their part with sincerity, courage, and zero resources. Now, the institutions responsible must answer with honesty. Our people deserve more than reports and claims they deserve real protection, real action and real change.

If the world truly wishes to stop human trafficking, then it must start by listening to those who are closest to the reality and by supporting the youth who have carried this mission on their shoulders for years.

Statement on the Abduction of Bangladeshi Fishermen by the So-Called Arakan Army

Over the past several months, the so-called Arakan Army (AA) a rebel group operating along the Myanmar-Bangladesh border has repeatedly violated international boundaries by intruding into Bangladesh’s territorial waters and abducting innocent fishermen. In the last two months alone, nearly 150 fishermen have reportedly been kidnapped from the Bay of Bengal, and no credible information has yet emerged regarding their fate.

The families of these abducted fishermen are living in deep anguish and uncertainty waiting for their beloved sons and husbands who never returned home. Their pain grows with every passing day, as there has been no official confirmation of whether these men are alive or still under the control of the Arakan Army.

Such acts are not only grave violations of human rights but also direct threats to the sovereignty and security of Bangladesh. The government of Bangladesh must take urgent diplomatic and security measures to secure the safe return of all abducted fishermen and ensure stronger protection for those who risk their lives daily to earn a living at sea.

The international community, including the United Nations and regional partners, should also condemn these cross-border criminal acts and pressure the Arakan Army to release the captives immediately.

Bangladeshi fishermen deserve to work without fear. Their safety must never be compromised by external armed groups exploiting the border region. Protecting them is not only a national duty it is a moral obligation.

The UN conference is not giving us a sustainable solution right now. Time will be needed for a sustainable Solution we understand it.but only support through donations. We are grateful, and we truly appreciate the donations who have received so far. Without them survival in the camps would not even be possible.

But the truth is, our lives depend entirely on these donations. We also need donations to survive as long as we are forced to live in the camps. When funding is cut, our families go hungry, our children lose education, and the sick are left without treatment. Every day becomes a struggle for survival.

We are thankful for what has been given, but it is not enough. We need stronger support today, and at the same time, we need the world to look for a real, sustainable solution so that one day we can live with dignity, freedom, and hope not just survival in a camp.

Today I held an awareness session with over 100 women on human trafficking issues.

We spoke about how dowry, lack of education, and denial of women’s rights create conditions where trafficking can happen
The solution is clear: Educate women, respect their rights, and say no to dowry. Together we can break the cycle.

Educate your daughters, make them strong, respect their opinions and proud of you them.
Our future is in your hands. Follow the rules of Quran and Hadiths

The Rohingya community has suffered genocide, displacement, and years of hardship. Now, inside the camps, human trafficking is rising and it is the young girls who are most at risk. This cannot be their future.

We call on the Government of Bangladesh, the authorities, and NGOs to take strong and immediate action. The Rohingya especially the girls deserve safety, dignity, and the chance for a better future.

the Coast Guard and Navy conducted a joint operation; 66 people, including women and children held captive for trafficking, were rescued.
