The forum provided a meaningful platform for young Rohingya to share ideas, engage in dialogue and reflect on the role of youth in shaping the future of our community

The Rohingya Students Unity Right_Offical page is honored to have taken part in the Rohingya Youth Forum 2026, a significant youth-led initiative that brought together young Rohingya to discuss the challenges facing our community, our aspirations, responsibilities and our collective future.RSUR was pleased to participate alongside fellow youth organizations and community representatives.

RSUR believe that when young Rohingya come together with unity, responsibility and a shared vision, we can contribute meaningfully to building a stronger and more hopeful future for our people.

Rohingya Student Unity For Right (RSUR) was pleased to participate in the Civil Society organization (CBOs)Coordination and Community Engagement Meeting organized by the Arakan Rohingya National Council (ARNC). The discussion brought together camp-based organizations to exchange views, strengthen coordination, and explore collective ways to support and empower the Rohingya community.

RSUR is always committed to supporting and standing alongside CBOs in their efforts to serve and empower the Rohingya community. We believe in unity, collaboration, and collective action to strengthen community-led initiatives and create meaningful change.

Joint Statement: Malaysia must uphold international law and protect the from detention and returns to Myanmar

In recent weeks, the government has suspended UNHCR refugee registration, detained 110 Rohingya refugees following forced evictions from their homes, called for a review of UNHCR's presence in Malaysia, and announced plans to pursue the return of 5,000 Rohingya refugees from Malaysia and 300,000 Rohingya refugees from Bangladesh through discussions with Myanmar's military junta, despite the continuing genocide against the Rohingya and despite the fact that the military authorities have neither restored Rohingya citizenship nor provided credible guarantees of safety, freedom of movement, or protection upon return.

On World Refugee Day 2026, the Rohingya Students Unity Right_Offical page stands in solidarity with refugees, asylum seekers, stateless persons and forcibly displaced people around the world and We reaffirm our commitment to protecting their rights, dignity, safetyand wellbeing, while calling for greater international responsibility-sharing and durable solutions to displacement.

Today, more than 120 million people worldwide have been forcibly displaced by conflict, persecution, violence, human rights violations, climate change and humanitarian crises and Millions of families continue to face uncertainty, poverty, discrimination and limited access to basic services while seeking safety and protection far from their homes.

Bangladesh remains one of the countries most affected by forced displacement, hosting over one million Rohingya rohingya refugees who fled atrocities and persecution in Myanmar and their continued displacement highlights the urgent need for international solidarity, sustained humanitarian assistance, accountability and a safe, voluntary, dignified, and sustainable return to their homeland.

The global community must recognize that refugees are not merely victims of crisis; they are individuals with hopes, talents, and aspirations who deserve opportunities to live in dignity and contribute to society. Ensuring access to education, healthcare, livelihoods, legal protection, and social inclusion is essential to safeguarding their rights and strengthening resilient communities.

“On World Refugee Day, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to protecting the rights, dignity, and safety of refugees and displaced people around the world. The right to seek safety is a fundamental human right that must be respected and upheld by all nations.

At a time when conflict, persecution, climate change, and humanitarian crises continue to force millions from their homes, we must strengthen global solidarity, promote inclusion, and ensure that refugees have access to protection, education, healthcare, and opportunities to rebuild their lives with dignity. Until everyone is safe, our collective responsibility remains clear: to stand with refugees, uphold international law, and work together toward just, durable, and humane solutions for all those forced to flee.
