To promote and protect the human rights of women, girls, children, and marginalized communities in Bangladesh by advancing gender justice, inclusive education, climate resilience, and participatory development. We work to empower individuals and communities to realize their rights and live with dignity, safety, and opportunity.

PHREB envisions a just, inclusive, and equitable society where every woman, girl, and child can live free from violence, exercise their rights, lead in climate and community action, and thrive in a world rooted in peace, equality, and justice.

🕰️ Our History
Founded in 2004, PHREB has worked for over a decade with national and international partners to combat gender-based violence, promote human rights education, and support safe motherhood, youth leadership, and girls’ empowerment. From school-based human rights education to community advocacy, from empowering adolescent girls through sports and culture to promoting sexual and reproductive health — PHREB has impacted thousands of lives across Bangladesh. After a brief period of inactivity, we are relaunching PHREB with a renewed focus on climate justice, women-centered food and livelihood security, and inclusive development.
