In every event, we prepare for certain things like... volunteer registration, crowd management, timeline, games coordination.. etc etc...
But there are still some issues and realisation that nobody prepare you for...like...

"Logistics er box guchanur pore seal kora jacche na cz tape box er Vitore!🫠"
"Sugar is not the magic material for juice to taste good, it's the Salt! And Gol chamoch er e koyekta variation thake!"
"Mentioning Water Sponsor as "Drinking Partner" is not a very good choice of words!"🥲
"Event er agerdin kokhono printer er color kaaj kore na"
"Raate sobkiso guchay rakhar poreo...you can always forget about Balti! And.. Shorbot bananur time e sudden realisation j balti ekta fata!" 🤷🏻‍♀️

However...

Nk is probably the only member of YV whom most new members know by voice first rather than by face. “Naveed bhai won’t approve,” “Need Naveed bhai’s approval,” “Naveed bhai approved!”- these are the common introductory lines about him. And sometimes, all of a sudden, a voice will appear: “Why is the requisition late?” and...not to mention, he holds the strongest and irreversible warning letter!

If you have guessed already… Yes! He is the mighty Treasurer of Youth’s Voice!

But behind the strict voice, there’s another voice we hear: “Take more money, but don’t make members work more,” “Why take this hassle? Enjoy and have fun… TK beshi kore diye disi…,” “R ki ki lagbe janao…”, ”jkono issue hoile janaba”, “ami sort out kore dicchi…”

It’s true that he doesn’t come to the office often... It’s true that many new members suddenly get to know him out of nowhere. And then he will introduce himself like, “Amake chino ni mone hoy… phone e kotha hoisilo… ami Naveed!”

Though it’s almost the end of 12th March, it’s never too late to say Happy Birthday, and we are grateful to have you. When you say, “Ager sobai e to motamoti chole gese… ami asi khali… pari nai…,” we are grateful that you failed to leave the team. Thank you for being the guardian and for standing with us like a pillar of this big family.

“Every member has their own definition of YV.” Just like that, every member who has learned from him, listened to him, and followed his journey carries their own definition of Mangopeople. From the very first day of membership to every step of growth...every tantrum, every burnout, he is the person everyone can turn to. Always there, side by side, ready to share the load at any moment.

A leader in the field, a friend in need...
They say good people are made, not born, and today, we celebrate someone who was born to prove this quote right. YV’s Member of All Time and truly a 1 TB memory card at heart, holding all the moments of YV.
