Today, students from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering embarked on a significant academic excursion to the Kaptai Hydro Power Plant in Chittagong—the only hydroelectric power facility in Bangladesh. This visit offered a unique opportunity to explore the practical applications of sustainable power generation and energy infrastructure.

We were honored to be accompanied by our respected faculty members:
★Md. Golam Rabbani
★Sadri Islam
★Prosun Mojumdar
and
★Nishadur Rahman.
Their presence and insightful guidance throughout the visit greatly enriched the learning experience for all students involved.

From observing turbine operations to understanding the intricacies of power distribution, the visit was an eye-opener for aspiring engineers eager to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world systems.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the management and engineers of Kaptai Hydro Power Plant for their warm hospitality and for providing such an engaging and inform Experience.
