March 26, our great Independence Day, is not just a date, it is the foundation of our spirit, our pride, and our identity.
When the people of Bengal stood up against oppression, repression, and injustice, a new chapter of history began. The red circle on a field of green reminds us of those fiery days when the entire nation united in the struggle for freedom.

Today, we remember with deep respect all the brave martyrs whose sacrifices paved the way for our independence.
Their sacrifice will continue to inspire us in every step we take.

With deepest sorrow and solemn respect, the Chittagong University Human Resource Management Club (CUHRC) mourns the passing of respected Professor ๐Œ๐. ๐€๐ง๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐€๐ณ๐ข๐ฆ ๐€๐ซ๐ข๐Ÿ Sir, (1 May 1951, - 19 March 2026) our former 16th Vice Chancellor of ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‚๐ก๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐š๐ ๐จ๐ง๐  and the Founder chairman of the Department of ๐‡๐ฎ๐ฆ๐š๐ง ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐œ๐ž ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐š๐ ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a hospital.

He had a very meaningful career beyond the University of Chittagong as well. He served as VC of both Premier University and International Islamic University Chittagong. Alongside his academic journey, he also took on important leadership roles in the banking sector, including Chairman of Social Islami Bank Limited and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Islamic Banks Consultative Forum in 2021. His work in education was even recognized internationally when he was honored as the ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ in Strategic Management at the ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ in ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ

His leadership, hard work, and dedication helped build the strong foundation we stand on today. His teachings and contributions will continue to inspire people for years to come ๐Ÿ–ค

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May Allah (SWT) grant him Jannatul Firdaus and give his family the strength to bear this immense loss.

On 28th February 2026, Project Kiron was successfully conducted at ๐€๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐š ๐’๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐‡๐จ๐ฆ๐ž under the ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐€๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐š๐ฃ๐ž๐ฒ๐จ ๐๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐š๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ก. This initiative was not just an event, it was a heartfelt effort to bring smiles, confidence, and support to the beautiful children of the shelter home.

From a warm introduction session to beautiful mehedi designs, exciting games for both juniors and seniors, prize distribution, chocolate treats, Eid shopping items provided, essential grocery and frozen food handover, stationery support, and shared heartfelt iftaar together where every segment reflected love, care, and togetherness.โค๏ธ

The program concluded with a thoughtful speech by ๐™๐ข๐ง๐š๐ญ ๐€๐ซ๐š ๐๐ž๐ ๐ฎ๐ฆ, ๐ˆ๐ง-๐œ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐€๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐š ๐’๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐‡๐จ๐ฆ๐ž (๐‚๐ก๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง), expressing sincere gratitude for the initiative.
