Health Camp and Food Distribution Program

On 22 August 2026, the Lions Club of Chittagong Bakolia organized a health camp and food distribution program at Shishu Shorgho. The program provided health services and food support to the children of Shishu Shorgho.

General Secretary of Shishu Shorgho, Syed Mohammed Morshed Hossain, Vice President Nurul Amin and Treasurer, Sohidul Islam Kanchan, were present on the occasion. Shishu Shorgho expresses its sincere gratitude to the Lions Club of Chittagong Bakolia for their kind initiative and support.

Condolence Meeting in Memory of Fred Cappuccino.

Today, Shishu Shorgho Bangladesh organized a solemn condolence and remembrance meeting in loving memory of Fred Cappuccino, Co-Founder of Child Haven International.

The meeting was attended by members of the Shishu Shorgho Board, including General Secretary Syed Mohammed Morshed Hossain, Joint Secretary Advocate Nurul Islam, and Treasurer Mr. Sohidul Islam. Staff members, children, former children, and well-wishers also joined the gathering to remember this remarkable person whose compassion and dedication touched so many lives.

During the meeting, board of Shashu Shorgho, staff, children, and former children shared their memories, gratitude, and heartfelt appreciation for Fred Pa.

🖤 With a Broken Heart, We Say Goodbye to Fred Cappuccino 🖤

The Child Haven family is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Fred Cappuccino, Co-Founder of Child Haven International, who passed away on August 6, 2026.

FredPa was much more than a co-founder. He was a father figure, a friend, a mentor, and a source of hope for countless children whose lives were touched by Child Haven. His deep love and compassion for children knew no boundaries.

For the children and staff of Shishu Shorgho, FredPa was a very special person. His vision, kindness, and unwavering commitment to children in need have left an everlasting mark on our hearts. The home we have built and the lives we have been privileged to support are part of a legacy that Fred helped create.

It is difficult to find words to express the emptiness we feel today. We will miss his warmth, his smile, his caring presence, and the love he always showed for the children.

Though FredPa is no longer with us, his dream, his kindness, and his love for children will continue to live on through every child whose life he helped make brighter.

Our deepest condolences and prayers go to his family, loved ones, and the entire Child Haven International family.

Rest peacefully, FredPa.
You may have left this world, but you will never leave our hearts. 🖤

Sunil Babu is very known face to our home children.

For many years, Sunil Babu has been cutting the hair of the children of Shishu Shorgho Home. Over the years, he has become much more than a barber—he is a familiar face, a trusted friend, and someone our children always look forward to seeing.

Many of our former children still know him well and remember him with great affection.
Thank you, Sunil Babu, for your years of service and you are an important part of our Shishu Shorgho family.

Sometimes, caregivers need care too. ❤️

Every day, our caregivers dedicate themselves to nurturing, supporting, and loving our children. To help them rest and recharge, we occasionally arrange small outings just for them.
This time, they are enjoying the gentle breeze of the Bay of Bengal, taking a well-deserved break to refresh their minds and spirit.
