The Soil

Still no water -
We touch the ground
Cut the soil
Decorate the ground
With immense joy
Work with stick and spade
Water touch the field - slowly
The sky with stars – dance slowly
We observe all with joy
Then go for sleep
On humble ground -
On humble ground forever …!!

তারপরও জল নেই -
মুই ছুঁই মাটি
মাটি কাটি
কাটি মাটি
অপার আনন্দে
কাস্তে কোদাল হাতে
জল ছুঁই মাঠে -
আকাশ তারাদের সাথে -
ঘুম দিই অতঃপর
বিনিদ্র মাটিতে ।।

মজুমদার এর উৎসাহে এ Non formal Pre Primary education program চলছে 1994 সন হতে। ওডেব প্রতিষ্ঠা হয় এই শিক্ষা কার্যক্রমের উপর ।

আমার শহর আজ এই ভরা বাদলে ভেজে সারা দিন ‍,
তাই কবিতা হাত ধরেছে - শ‍্যামলী মজুমদার এর --

ঢল নেমেছে
----------------
চারিদিক অন্ধকার
আকাশ মেঘে ঢাকা
বর্ষার ঢল নেমেছে দিগন্ত জুড়ে
হেথা হোথা গাঁ গেরাম
ভেসে যাচ্ছে সব
নিভৃত ঘরের কোণ
কোণঠাসা আধভেজা আঁধারে -
চারদিক অন্ধকার
বর্ষা মাথালে ঢেকে মুখ
এলে প্রাঙ্গণে তুমি -
ভরা বরষার প্রথম কদমফুল
রক্তাক্ত দুটি ঠোঁট -
অবসরহীন শ্রান্ত বাতাস
মেঘমল্লার শরীর জুড়ে
মিশে যাচ্ছে - যাক
শুধু ব‍ৃষ্টি থাক -
আর থাক‍ো তুমি কবিতা আমার !

OWDEB is workimg to promote climate jutice, green environment and gender sensitivity at rural and urban level of Chittagong , Bamgladesh. Also work through various network of the country to protect human rights always.
Diakonia Banglaesh support OWDEB for a long time to work ESC justice of deprived Women and Adolescent in Chattogram.
The visit from Diakonia inspire OWDEB people in many ways.
Planting trees ...a mission for green environment .Our grass root people, student forum always take care of the plant to be a big one.
Today was a such day to explore the bondings for development among the Volunteers People..plant...
environment...community group all.
Congratulations OWDEB's great friend Ms. Morzina from Diakonia and for students forum here at Chandanaish and Anowara of Chattogram, BD.
Sharing meeting , tree plantation and community visit...all are so lively.
Each Participant enjoy the time with pleasure.

নাকি ধাবার তড়কা -
তড়িঘড়ি কি নামে ডাকি !
কবিতা তোমাকে বলছি,
নিলামে ডাক উঠেছে...
ফিসফিসিয়ে বলো
চুমু খেতে খেতে তোমাকে

At Baroma, Chandanaish, Chattogram ,OWDEB area office today enjoy the light of Diakonia Team...so beautiful time with rain cloud ,nature and green lively atmosphere. Diakonia always work with OWDEB for Gender and Justice mainstreaming from grassroot level to Policy advocay level from 2005 , till now in 2023 we're fighting for our Girls rights with Climate justice. Stay with OWDEB.
