A milestone moment for Rohingya Progressive Network - RPN.

On 14 April 2026, RPN proudly signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Gandhi Mandela Foundation (GMF), opening the door for collaboration in education, peacebuilding, ethical leadership, women’s empowerment, and child development.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to dialogue, dignity, and meaningful social change that impacted the grounds with cooperation and global solidarity.

We, the Rohingya Progressive Network - RPN, , stand united with a shared commitment to protect and uplift our the most persecuted community. Together with nearly 20 Rohingya CBOs and with social advocators , we are actively addressing urgent challenges in the camps, especially RPN hold about gender-based violence that continues to affect many families.

Despite limited resources, we are taking responsibility at the community level that mobilizing youth volunteers, raising awareness, supporting survivors, and working toward prevention. We believe change must come from within, and our efforts reflect the strength and resilience of our people.

We are not only raising our voices but also building practical solutions. With a clear vision for safer communities, stronger rights, and empowered youth, we remain dedicated to turning awareness into action and creating a better future for the community.

We, the Rohingya Progressive Network (RPN), stand with the community of Rohingya Refugee camp in this critical moment.

We respectfully call on the Camp Administration and WFP to maintain full food rations for all residents, reject any categorization, and ensure equality in assistance. Every family in the camp faces the same hardships, restrictions, and lack of resources, and dividing aid only creates unnecessary tension and unfairness.

We are one community facing one crisis, and we ask that our voices be heard, our dignity respected, and support provided equally to every resident.

Today was another meaningful day for RPN. We spent time with Syed and my friend from Japan(Koshiro ono ), sharing a small but important moment with the students by providing books and bags.

It may seem simple, but for us, it’s a step forward. We truly hope our work continues smoothly and reaches even more students in the days ahead.

It was truly a pleasure meeting my friend who came all the way from Japan. We first met in 2025, and now in 2026, meeting again in person during his second visit to the camp feels even more special. After more than three years of staying connected, this moment really means a lot.

I’m also grateful to have spent time with my friend Sayed Khan, the founder of GFF. Our discussions were meaningful and focused on the future.

Together, we are working on important issues like climate change and education, especially for refugee communities who are often left behind. We believe real change begins by working closely with the community and understanding their needs.

Very soon, we at Rohingya Progressive Network - RPN (RPN) are planning to launch a new education project. Our aim is to work hand in hand with refugees, creating opportunities for learning, growth, and a stronger future.

This is just the beginning, and we are committed to making a real and lasting impact together.

We are proud to share that our Founder, Arfat Ullah ( Arfat Uddin ), has successfully completed this training and earned this meaningful recognition in United Nations UN Environment Programme UN Environment Programme in Asia Pacific . For someone who grew up in a refugee camp where opportunities are limited, this achievement carries deep significance and responsibility.

We sincerely appreciate Zero Olympiad | জিরো অলিম্পিয়াড | Season 2 for providing a platform where young people can learn, grow, and demonstrate their potential beyond their circumstances. This certificate is not just a document. It represents hope, progress, and the courage to move forward despite challenges.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Faatiha Aayat for her encouragement and support throughout his journey. Her motivation played an important role in strengthening his confidence and determination.

As an organization, we see this not only as a personal milestone for our Founder but also as a symbol of possibility for the entire community. This is one step beyond the boundaries of camp life and toward a brighter future. We are truly proud of him and look forward to many more achievements ahead.

Joint Statement | 6 February 2026

The Rohingya Progressive Network (RPN) has joined a collective statement demanding the immediate and unconditional release of Rohingya civilians who have been unjustly detained by the Arakan Army (AA).

Having already endured persecution under the Myanmar military, Rohingya communities are once again experiencing serious threats, large-scale detentions, displacement, and ongoing insecurity in areas controlled by the AA in Rakhine State. Reports indicate that over 150,000 people have been forced to leave their homes.

We firmly denounce these actions, which may constitute serious violations of international law, and urge the global community and the International Criminal Court (ICC) to take urgent steps to ensure protection for Rohingya civilians and accountability for those responsible.

Delayed justice denies victims their rights. Global silence allows suffering to continue.

Rohingya Progressive Network continues its commitment to education by providing books, pens, and basic learning materials to Rohingya children. In a simple learning space, these children hold more than notebooks in their hands. They hold hope, dignity, and the chance for a better future. Even in the most challenging conditions, education remains a powerful tool for resilience and progress.
