Our voices remain ignored while decisions about our lives move forward without us. We want peace restored in Rakhine, not temporary shelter and endless aid lines. Citizenship is the foundation of everything we lack. Without it, we remain unsafe, uneducated, and exposed to abuse. Statelessness keeps our children out of schools and our elders without protection. We did not flee to become refugees forever. We fled to stay alive. The world must understand this truth. Grant citizenship. Ensure security. Make return safe, voluntary, and dignified. Only then can peace exist.

Where there is compassion, there is light even in the most difficult places.

When Mesut Özil visited the Rohingya refugee camps, it became a meaningful reminder that solidarity can cross borders, languages, and backgrounds. Sitting closely with Rohingya schoolchildren, sharing smiles and simple conversations, he offered more than a visit he offered recognition and respect.

For children growing up in displacement, moments like these carry deep meaning. They show that the world has not completely turned away. They remind them that their lives, their stories, and their futures still matter.

In times when injustice feels heavy, even a small gesture of kindness can restore a sense of dignity and hope. True humanity is shown not only in words, but in standing beside those who continue to struggle.

The Daily Struggle of Rohingya Families

Life in the camps is never easy. Every day, Rohingya families face hardships that most of us cannot imagine. Limited food, unsafe shelters, lack of clean water and minimal access to healthcare make daily survival a struggle.

This post shows the reality many families live with constant uncertainty, fear and loss. For them, a simple meal, a safe place to sleep, or a warm blanket is not a luxury it's a lifeline.

Even small disasters, like fires, floods, or illness, can destroy everything they have, leaving families with nothing. Yet, amidst this suffering, there is hope, hope that comes from compassion, solidarity and support from people like you.

🔥 From Ashes to Hope: A Rohingya Family's Struggle

Today, we witnessed another heartbreaking reality. What you see in this image is not just burnt household items. It is a family's small world turned into ashes. Cooking pots, clothing, bedding and basic necessities everything destroyed by fire within moments.
For vulnerable Rohingya families, even a small home represents safety, dignity and survival. When fire strikes, it does not only burn bamboo walls and tin roofs, it burns hope, stability and precious memories.

The elderly man standing there has lost more than belongings. The younger man searching through the ashes is not just looking for metal pots , he is searching for something that can still be saved from a life already filled with hardship.

These families were already struggling with:
• Limited access to food
• Poor shelter conditions
• Lack of medical support
• Financial insecurity

Now they face the cold reality of starting again from nothing.
