We are proud to share that our Team Lead, Connecting Dots, Machen was invited by the Peacebuilding Support Office of the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs to participate in the 3rd Civil Society Organizations–United Nations Dialogue on Peacebuilding, organized in partnership with the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) on 10–11 December at the UNOG premises in Switzerland. She served as a Briefer at the Peacebuilding Commission (PBC) expert-level meeting, where one of her recommendations received particular appreciation from PBC members.

Democracy: from Theory to Practice (Spring 2025)
Application Deadline: 25 January 2025

Microgovernance Research Initiative - MGR University of Dhaka, in partnership with the IFES and supported by USAID is going to offer an innovative and interactive university level extracurricular civic education course ‘Democracy: from Theory to Practice’ for Spring 2025.

The course will be carried out in person.Classes will be held in the respective university campuses.Students from 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of Bachelor Program can apply for this.Only the selected ones will be contacted for further advancement.

SAVE Youth CU Chapter had a 'Learning Sharing Meeting' and special lecture for the running students of the civic education course 'Democracy:From Theory to Practice' with the officials of USAID, IFES and MGR.

The event was held on 4 December, 2024 in the virtual class room of Faculty of IT in University of Chittagong.

The Chapter Moderator Afzalur Rahman ( Assistant Professor, Department of International Relations) and executive members participated.They shared their journey with SAVE Youth Bangladesh and discussed the future endeavours.

SAVE Youth CU Chapter - Students Against Violence Everywhere in the latest FGD titled "Envisioning the Future: SAVE Leaders Strategic Planning" organised by The International Foundation for Electoral Systems - IFES with support from USAID Bangladesh and Microgovernance Research Initiative - MGR.

We're hopeful that this will bring up more efficiency in the upcoming days.
