Respected Members of the Alumni Association,
Assalamu Alaikum / Greetings,
At the beginning of this new year, I hope you are all in good health and spirits. I am H.M. Shohrab Mostafa, a proud student of the 2nd batch of CUCBA and a lifetime member of the Alumni Association since 2015. Over the years, I have actively participated in the association’s activities, and during the 2023-2024 term, I was privileged to serve as the Joint General Secretary of the Executive Committee.
Under the able leadership of our President and with the support of the committee, we achieved significant milestones despite challenges. Notable activities during our tenure include:

As Joint General Secretary, I have consistently fulfilled my responsibilities with dedication, ensuring the progress of our alumni association.
With the advice and encouragement of senior alumni members, I am now contesting for the position of General Secretary in the upcoming 2025-2026 Executive Council Election on January 10, 2025 (Friday) from 4:00PM to 7:30PM . My vision is to build on the achievements of the current committee and lead the association into a new era of growth and inclusivity.
If elected as General Secretary, I will focus on the following priorities:
1. Building a Strong Alumni Network
Increase membership and actively engage new members.
Develop a mobile application for seamless connectivity.
Strengthen connections with alumni residing abroad.
Organize regular online meetings to ensure broader participation.
Implement online voting for inclusive decision-making.
2. Setting a Clear Direction
Develop monthly, half-yearly, and yearly plans to ensure short-term, intermediate, and long-term goals are met.
3. Fostering Teamwork
Promote teamwork within the Executive Committee to achieve collective goals.
Ensure that decisions are democratic and inclusive.
4. Supporting Freshers
Organize high-quality training programs for skill development.
Facilitate connections between alumni and corporate organizations.
Provide internship opportunities and arrange job fairs for fresh graduates.
5. Leading with Vision
Implement SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) plans.
Tailor action plans to meet the needs of the Executive Committee Secretariat.
6. Ensuring Accountability
Conduct regular AGMs with detailed organizational and financial reports.
Maintain transparency and accountability to all members.
I am committed to serving with integrity, dedication, and a collaborative spirit. Together, we can shape a stronger, more dynamic alumni association.
