"Rotaract Club of Chandpur Rupashi " Distributed Raincoats to Working-Class People in Chandpur

​With the aim of ensuring the continuity of work and safety of working-class and hardworking people during the heavy monsoon rains, the Rotaract Club of Chandpur Rupashi implemented a special service-oriented initiative titled ‘নিরাপদ বর্ষা’ (Safe Monsoon). Today, Friday, 7th August 2026, high-quality raincoats were distributed among the local working-class people in Chandpur city.
​The primary objective of this project was to reduce the suffering caused by rain and protect the health of rickshaw pullers, daily wage laborers, and street vendors who work under the open sky during the rainy season. Under the beautiful guidance and leadership of Rtr. Barsha Saha, President of Rotaract Club of Chandpur Rupashi, the entire program was conducted in a highly disciplined and successful manner.
​Renowned social worker Rotarian Morshed Alam and Rtr. Anik Das, Immediate Past President of Rotaract Club of Chandpur Rupashi, were present as guests at the event.
​Rtr. Hamim Rahman Himel served as the Program Chair, while Rtr. Rayhan Chowdhury served as the Co-Chair for the overall implementation of the program.

বর্ষার অতিবৃষ্টিতে শ্রমজীবী ও মেহনতি মানুষের কাজের ধারাবাহিকতা ও সুরক্ষা নিশ্চিত করার লক্ষ্যে রোটার‍্যাক্ট ক্লাব অব চাঁদপুর রূপসীর উদ্যোগে বাস্তবায়িত হলো বিশেষ সেবাধর্মী কর্মসূচি ‘নিরাপদ বর্ষা’। আজ ৭ই আগস্ট, ২০২৬ রোজ শুক্রবার চাঁদপুর শহরের স্থানীয় শ্রমজীবী মানুষের মাঝে মানসম্মত রেইনকোট বিতরণ করা হয়।
​বর্ষা মৌসুমে খোলা আকাশের নিচে কাজ করা রিকশাচালক, দিনমজুর ও হকারদের বৃষ্টিজনিত ভোগান্তি কমানো ও স্বাস্থ্য সুরক্ষাই ছিল এই কর্মসূচির মূল উদ্দেশ্য। রোটার‍্যাক্ট ক্লাব অব চাঁদপুর রূপসীর সভাপতি রোটার‍্যাক্টর বর্ষা সাহার সুন্দর পরিচালনায় ও নেতৃত্বে পুরো অনুষ্ঠানটি অত্যন্ত সুশৃঙ্খল ও সফলভাবে সম্পন্ন হয়।
​অনুষ্ঠানে অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশিষ্ট সমাজসেবক রোটারিয়ান মোর্শেদ আলম এবং রোটার‍্যাক্ট ক্লাব অব চাঁদপুর রূপসীর সদ্য বিদায়ী সভাপতি রোটার‍্যাক্টর অনিক দাস।
​প্রোগ্রামটির সার্বিক বাস্তবায়নে প্রোগ্রাম চেয়ারম্যান হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন রোটার‍্যাক্টর হামিম রহমান হিমেল এবং কো-চেয়ারম্যান হিসেবে ছিলেন রোটার‍্যাক্টর রায়হান চৌধুরী ।

A beautiful day of unity and service! Today, the Rotary Club of Chandpur and the Rotary Club of Chandpur Rupashi came together for a series of impactful programs to mark the new Rotary Year.
​Our day began with a vibrant rally, followed by a tree plantation drive to promote a greener environment. ​A historic chapter unfolded for the Rotaract Club of Chandpur Rupashi as we successfully hosted our official Handover Ceremony, stepping into the dynamic Rotary Year 2026–2027! 🌻
​In a traditional and prestigious ceremony, Outgoing President Rtr. Anik Das passed the torch of leadership by collar-induction to our newly elected President, Rtr. Barsha Saha, alongside the official Gavel and Charter. 👑
​The official Secretarial Handover also took place, where the annual Secretarial Report and club ledgers were formally handed over to the incoming Secretary, Rtr. Rafsan Jamil Rafi. 📝📋
